As Darwin kept the owner entertained, he slowly made his way to a corner of the shop, and there he would stand motionless and as quiet as the inside of a cave, and he would just watch those that would walk in and eyeball them. It was up to Darwin to get the parts that they needed as Havoc pulled security. He for one didn't like surprises so he'd be the one to prevent them from happening. Sliding his hand into his cloak, it rested comfortably on his lightsaber. If anything were to happen, the flick of a wrist and that individual would no doubt lose their whole hand, and maybe then some.

The natives of Romar typically didn't like outsiders. The type of reaction coming toward Darwin from the owner probably isn't an ideal one for both Jedi. The Jedi noticed that Havoc would move to a corner. No doubt the guy's acting as the security detail for the "King." While Darwin was maintaining his role as a demanding customer, the owner wasn't exactly friendly. The man was rather blunt, but was cooperative. There is a reason why there aren't many monarchies or dictatorships in place, because usually it gives a single person too much power and it turns people off.

For a moment, the owner excused himself so he would go look for the parts that were demanded. The Jedi leaned on the counter like he owned the place. Well, he had to maintain his role as the King of Acherin. After several moments of waiting, the guy came back and dumped the parts on the counter. "5,000 credits." A firm tone would be heard. The "King" stopped leaning his arms on the counter, raising his eyebrows. "Five thousand credits? You think I'm going to buy something that costs that high?" He was making a scene, but isn't that what royalty usually do?

He'd stand there, growing eager to get a move on. Darwin had been doing well up until this point. Now time was starting to move against the two Jedi. The point wasn't to make a scene, because anyone in their right minds would know that as soon as Darwin started acting like that, things were going to get hairy. "Your highness... we need to move now... pay for the part, thank the good man, and let's get going." A huge hint of an attitude in Havoc's voice.

The "King" looked at his "bodyguard" for a moment, and gave a snobb-ish look like a tyipical King would have. "Fine." That was all he would say, taking out five thousand credits and put it on the counter. The next thing he did was taking the parts with him, turning around and walked for the exit. Once they would get outside, he looked at Havoc. "That went well."

Havoc grinned as he exited the shop with Darwin. Grinning some, he would lead the group back towards the ship. "Next time, try to be less of an idiot..." The Jedi continued to grin as they would walk near buildings as they proceeded back to Kaylie. "Now with all the parts, let's hope she's all set to rock and roll."

Upon their return, the pair of Jedi would find Kaylie sitting in a lawn chair just beside the ramp under the ship. There were deceased parts strewn everywhere that just needed to be thrown out, and replaced with the new parts that were hopefully coming. She lounged back in the chair and only kept about half an eye out for them.

Darwin shook his head and chuckled lightly, "Yeah, my acting was a little bit too much. I better stick to being a Jedi." The Jedi whispered to Havoc the word Jedi as not to alert everyone on the planet to their true identity. He didn't see this as a problem as the duo had approached Kaylie sitting on a lawn chair, looking over a magazine. He would look at Kaylie, "Here's the parts we need for the ship...unless you're enjoying that so much?" He wasn't sure whether to hand her the parts or to hold it himself as she takes off him one by one. He knew well of her condition and didn't want to strain her further.

As they reached Kaylie, Havoc would proceed to the ramp. "I'll send my astromech unit to assist you..." Proceeding up the ramp, the Jedi would meet with his droid, whom he would send down the ramp to assist Kaylie. All the mean time, Havoc would proceed to the upper rear quad laser turret and just sit in the chair, watching.

Her gaze fell to Darwin and she gave him a small smile before she turned her head and watched Havoc walk up the ramp. "Or you could help yourself! Hands are better than a droid that doesn't have opposable thumbs!" Kaylie rolled her eyes and started to take the parts from Darwin, one at a time, though she could only hold a couple.

"Darwin...." She said as she kicked one of the old parts out of the way, and then started to attach its replacement. "Where are we going next?" The girl looked over her shoulder at him and lowered the wrench she was using. The part was attached, but just needed welded into plce, which wouldn't take long. All of the prep work that was done while they were away would make the repairs hopefully go faster.

While Havoc's astromech droid were sent to help Kaylie, his own astromech droid would be the one doing all the check-ups inside the ship. Darwin didn't think he would need Artie since the Jedi would be the one handing her the parts and that another astromech droid were doing some of the work. The Jedi usually know how to do some basic repairs, but when it comes to Kaylie and repairing he usually steps out of the way. He decided to help her out with handing her the parts. She isn't in any position to hold any of the parts more than she needed to.

Then he would go on to place the parts on the ground, right next to her. "I don't really have any particular destination in mind, as long as it isn't controlled by the Empire." The Jedi would then turn around and begin walking up the ramp. "Maybe Havoc over there has an idea. I'll talk it over with him. I'm sure he has a place to where we would be safe, at least for the time being."

Havoc would find himself powering up the cannon as he would view outside. Now there was nothing threatening the Jedi and the crew he traveled with, but at the same time, he liked to be on alert and when someone DID show up, they would find themselves looking at a volley of laser fire.

She sighed as Darwin walked away from her also. "I guess not being a Jedi makes a person a peon." Kaylie muttered, but the only thing there to hear her was the astromech droid. As far as droids went, she much preferred Artie, despite their arguing at times. Or, all the time.

Kaylie continued to work, using a small hand welder to attach the part. Once that was on, she took a few minutes and patched up a couple of small hull breeches, and hoped that the patch job would hold through atmo. It should. It was bolted and welded and the best she could do with what she had to work with.

Darwin hoped Kaylie would be able to patch the ship together well, or at least well enough to fly for quite a while. Now that they're going to have parts in place, Darwin doesn't know where to go. He tried the Socorran resistance a long while ago, but they seemed not to be interested in continuing to be active for the time being. Perhaps they should continue to walk the path of exile, away from everyone else. Though he had spoken with Kaylie a while ago about helping someone fight the Empire. That is precisely the reason why he decided to go see Havoc instead of helping his special friend for a minute.

The Jedi had gone inside the ship, heading straight for the cockpit. Havoc was smart to power the cannon up, in case they had to flee from raining laserfire. "Where do you think our next destination ought to be?" He asked the famed Knight, walking into the cockpit.

Havoc could only nod his head. "Telos."

Kaylie welded and worked. It hurt, but seeing as how the only help she had was an astromech droid (one she liked less than Artie, at that), she had to do what she had to do. Finally, she had the patching done the best she could under the conditions, so she gathered her tools and headed inside. She dropped the toolbox inside the engine room and made one last check on things before she headed up to the cockpit.

"Fire her up, Dar. See if she falls apart." She said to him.
