| It was a calculated risk, one that even his own men told him not to do after he informed them of what was going on. Yet it was better than sitting around and not trying to find allies, even if it was a potential trap. Issacs slowly moved through the crowd of the city, knowing he had a place he needed to be at for the meeting. Not too far away though were two men keeping a close watch, one of the stipulations of allowing their Colonel to go to the meeting was having guards with him in case it did prove to be a trap and it got ugly, and of course the Colonel only agreed after much argument with his men.
So there he was now, sitting quietly and alone at a corner table where the meeting was to be had, just waiting for the one he spoke with through the Shadowfeed. He wasnt comfortable though with the whole situation as he shifted in his seat, his hand sitting on the blaster that sat at his side. If anything did happen he wanted to be able to shoot first then have to ask questions.

| Mika had knew the risk of coming to Atzerri. It was a smuggler haven. Which is as dangerous as any other worlds, perhaps more than some of those worlds. However, she would be safer there than she would be on a planet inside the Core Worlds. Why? Because the smugglers generally hates the Empire. Because she had been there before, and the bartender, along with the regular patrons, knew and cherish her. The Libs had sent a couple of soldiers in smugglers' clothing though. The men were standing by at the counter, pretending to be enjoying their alcoholic drinks.
The lady was dressed in a smuggler's clothing as well. She would approach the counter, grabbing a couple of beers. Then she walked over to where the Colonel was sitting at. She put down a beer in front of him, proceeding to sit on a chair across from him. "Sorry it had to be like this, Colonel. We got to look like two smugglers talking about partnership. By the way, I'm Mika Jeebs. Nice to meet you." She leaned over a little bit, extending her hand for the Colonel to shake.
It was clear this wasn't the first time for Mika...

| He leaned forward, using his left hand to shake her hand. "I hope you understand, I just didnt feel right with out having a hand on my weapon. I prefer to shot first sometimes. As for your own men, they dont have anything to worry about." He motioned with his head, nodding as he looked back to her. "They stand out a bit more than smugglers though, although I can say the same about my own men." He nodded as two men that were in their own corner just nodded their head before sitting back as Issacs looked to Mika. "I do understand though the reasons as to why we needed to meet here. I would have done the same to be honest, considering the location of my base."
It was difficult having a base of operations on a core world, yet it was a bit easier with the fact that it was an Agriworld. "Now then, let us get down to business. I believe I proposed an alliance between us, with the promise of keeping your troop's bellies full."

| After shaking the Colonel's hand, she sat back down on the chair. "I completely understand. You were right keeping your hand on your blaster. I don't think we have to worry about the Empire around here." Usually, the smugglers dislike the Empire because they're putting a clamp on everything. They're making things much harder for the smugglers to make a profit. Mika drank the beer, primarily to maintain the cover of a smuggler. That is just in case there are Imperial spies nearby.
"Yes, you were proposing an alliance of which my leader is in full agreement with. With a bonus of keeping the soldiers well fed, I thank you for that. Where the base of operations is stationed on, it isn't rich in supply. To start the alliance off on the right foot, what would you like in return from the Libs?" The man in charge of the rebellion had authorized Mika to accept or reject what Issacs Irregulars would want from the Libs, within reason of course. "By the way, the man himself would like to apologize for not being here. You understand, he is well-connected within the Empire and does not want to blow his cover."

| "I understand his not being able to speak to me. My own people want me to sent my Lieutenant instead of coming myself." He shifted in his seat for a moment as he brought his other hand up and sat it on the table. Sitting up in the seat now as he leaned forward a little, the chest plate of the old phase II clone trooper armor showing for a moment as he sat back in the shadows, having picked the table for a reason as it would keep his face covered. "Now then, on to business. I will provide food for the Libs, which as you've just said is in short supply at your current base. All I need in return is extra protection for the freights that are carrying the food. All we have is a single armed freighter we stole from the empire when we resigned."

| The lady nodded to the first demand, "That's perfectly doable, Colonel. Your men also probably need some protection in space for anything else you might do. We will be more than happy to provide you with that." A sip would have a small portion of the beer going down her throat, before she would speak once again. "Now that we are allies, we would need to fight side-by-side on some missions against the Empire. That would raise our chances of success. Since we are allies, we will have to exchange intel. The Libs are trying to establish an intelligence network throughout the galaxy, and your men were in the Imperial military. Both of us have a chance to have a good intelligence network, that's something most rebel groups do not have."
The man in charge wanted Mika to make sure she clarify how the alliance between them should work.

| "I understand the need for us to fight side by side, yet it could be problematic if the Empire finds out that one of its previous military companies is fighting against them. Right now our priority is making sure we dont draw attention to our world of operations, which will be difficult with its location in the Core Worlds. We dont want any harm coming to the farmers on the planet should the Empire trace us back to our base. If we do fight side by side on an operation, we ask that it be a world away from the Core, so that we can prevent any tracking of us back to Azbrian. For the moment we want to look like we're still supportive of the Empire."
Issacs sat back in his seat as he looked around the cantina, focusing on each of the people at the bar as he watched them. His own men nodding to let him know it was clear. He shifted a little, his eyes looking over each person as he looked back to her. "We will help however we can though, we just want to make sure that the people we are around are safe from anything that the Empire would do to them."

| "Understandable. The Libs are going to do campaigns in the Outer Rim most of the time, and probably for time being. It probably won't be for a while until we decide to push closer to the Core Worlds. We are taking a step at a time." The lady sat straight up, and set the beer on the table. "Let's get one thing clear, Colonel. We are not like the Empire. We don't even fight the way the Empire fights. The Libs will utilize guerilla warfare and possible urban warfare. Even though we are using those type of tactics, the rebellion are very concerned about the civilians. We do not want to harm the civilians, we try to avoid that as best as possible. That is not what the Empire would do."
She proceeded to finish the beer, "So, now that we have that out of the way...is there anything else you wish to ask? I will be happy to answer any of your questions to the best of my abilities."

| "Only those that have joined them know how the Empire fights. We didnt target Civilians, we weren't ordered to either. Dont think that all the soldiers are heartless, that is the way you'll lose. The people are only doing their job, this Empire is the construct of a single demented mind, that holds sway over others that think like him." Issacs sat up as his two men nodded and began to get ready to move, the clone trooper armor showing from the light as Issacs set a device on the table. "This is an encrypted holonet device, if you need to contact me just use this. However, its set to self destruct if anyone tries to back trace it to locate myself or my men."
He slid out from the table, the shadows still covering his face as he nodded to her before he stepped back, walking down the dark hall before he turned, just in time for the light to flicker on and show his back, showing he was wearing the chest plate of the clone armor as well before he disappeared through the door at the end of the hall.
