Over Aeeq three vessels of the Anaxes interest protection squadron dropped from hyperspace, a Nebulon-b Frigate and two Assassin-class Corvettes. These vessels slid sleekly through the space over Aeeq, their Ion rings glowing as they manoeuvred in the silent void.

All vessels were given an opportunity to turn back, otherwise they were impounded by the Blockadeers.

The two corvettes moved to scan and intercept cargoes while the Nebulon-b was used for in detail scans once a vessel was pacified. Once arrived any vessels were impounded, given a prize crew and returned to Anaxes.

The enforcement continued over the next couple of months, with the protest going on in full swing. Having stripped the space around Aeeq clean they started to begin to interdict travel within the atmosphere, to make sure the galactic community really felt how strongly they felt about the distressing situation still going on at Monor II. The vessels began to use their tractor beams to carry atmospheric transports skywards and prevent the effective flow of goods and services. Occasionally, Anaxasi Naval Crewmen went for shore leave, disappeared and was rumoured to have been murdered by the barbaric locals. In order to help compensate the Anaxes Protection Squadron and his family, the larger bank vaults on the planet were seized and tugged into space by the Anaxes forces. Chits were left with the Avareeq detailing the impounded wealth with the statement that they could claim the wealth back after the blockade by traversing the cavernous bureaucratic system of the Anaxes Legal System (a process which would likely take decades).

In order to help compensate for the losses and likely upset among the locals, the Anaxes Interest Protection squadron would provide a 20 meter tall statue of Senator Oriel, holding an Imperial Cog in one hand and looking to the sky. A truly inspirational sight for all the citizens and something to improve morale.

Several days later, as the blockade was entering its third month a Cardan IV Station was established at Aeeq (being transported in overnight in modules and assembled over a day, with work completing it taking days more), complimented with an Arquitens-class and three Imperial Customs Frigates to aid the now highly profitable protest at the events on Monor II.

Posters were dropped onto Aeeq detailing requests for them to lobby their Senator so she might support the protest about Monor II and assuring the locals that the blockade was just a legal protest at the disasters enveloping Monor II and was in the cause of the good and liberty of those people. In addition to vessels being seized from Atmospheric flight occasional expensive vessels were now seized from where they landed as the planet began to be bled dry.

Any perishable supplies confiscated in the protest were sold on the locals (at an extortionate rate, but bearing in mind their need for supplies they had no choice) and shipping was organised between cities by Anaxes Interest Protection Squadron shuttles (under billable escort) at a high mark up. But what choice did the locals have? Any Avareeq who resisted were arrested for their crimes and dealt with under Interest Protection Squadron special jurisdiction, many being imprisoned with indeterminate terms.

The economy of Aeeq was now locked in the grasp of Anaxes. No trade happened without an Interest Protection Squadron stamp. Vessels which sailed on the seas in breach of the blockade would find themselves tractored from the sea and destroyed or confiscated. No supplies came in except the leavings the Interest Protection Squadron didn't want.

Credits continued to flow into the Government of Anaxes' coffers, providing many a toast to be held in the Naval docks of Anaxes. The blockade was a complete success, not only that but peacefully the Government of Anaxes had essentially made Aeeq into its vassal with no complaints or protests from the locals which anyone heard about.

Almost like a changing of the guard, after the third month the Nebulon-B (its fighters now not needed) returned back to Anaxes with its escort of two Assassin-class Corvettes. The operation, now largely successful had been downgraded in importance, as such the Interest Protection Squadron reserve was now thought appropriate to "hold the fort" while the real navy was elsewhere.

As such, the Cardan IV station now in orbit of Aeeq was now escorted by 1 Arquitens-class Frigate and 3 Customs Frigates which exited from hyperspace some minutes before the Assassin-class ships and Nebulon-B left. This still left Aeeq formidably defended and blockaded by the Interest Protection Squadron but without the large expenditure which was being ventured previously.

The Arquitens-class, Customs Frigates and TIE Fighter squadrons from the Cardan IV station still held the blockade with admirable gusto and Anaxasi skill and efficiency.

The blockade pulled out as the Rogue Planetoid approached. Leaving only the Arquitens and the Customs Frigates to observe and pick over the remains of that world.
