The Dark Whispers emerged into realspace of the Kessel Sector. Kessendra was his destination and he transmitted his papers as a high member of the ISB. It would suffice, or so he hoped, to get him through the basic securities until he could meet with someone in charge who could, in turn, direct him to where the Hapan refugees had been sent. For now, he contended himself with transmitting his request for a list of names and locations of all Hapans on Kessel before landing. It was going to be a long day or two. His comfort was that the able Captain Proul had been sent to Anaxes to intercept and retrieve the prisoners sent there. It would still take some time, and Gemmell's rapid decisions had left Deschain in the dust.
