| Five BFF-1 freighters emerged from hyperspace near the Silken Asteroids, accompanied by twenty-four HLAF-500 starfighters and a solitary Kaloth-class battlecruiser. It was here they would wait for the contact who had spoken to Valencia about a slave deal. Both sides seemed as if they'd prosper greatly on this deal, and Valencia himself stood by several light-minutes distant to ensure that things went smoothly. For now, one of his racially-familiar lieutenants would seal the deal.

| As the asteroids began to shift, a small fleet of Hardcell Transports came from the asteroid field, yet stayed close to it in case they'd need to make a get away. The captain of the lead Hardcell opened up a channel as he stood on the bridge. "If you are here about the deal then lets get it over with." He crossed his arms over his chest, the hardcells waiting to pick up the cargo, not too far away was the rest of their escort, two Munificent Star Frigates waiting on the wind to swoop in should they be needed to pull their fellow comrades out of the fire.

| The Epicanthix in charge of the trade responded to the transport captain with customary efficiency that Valencia expected in his trusted inner circle. "Indeed, Captain, we are here for the deal. You may take possession of these freighters with their living cargo once receipt of payment has been verified." The vessels were indeed loaded as Rain had asked for, and it seemed both sides were eager to be gone.

| The captain of the Hardcell nodded to one of the men on the bridge. His hand hitting a button as one of the airlocks on the ship opened, a case being jetisoned as it began to drift closer to the other group of ships. Of course the moment the case was sent out, the fleet that was with the Hardcells began to move themselves into a position to intercept if the other fleet decided to cut and run. The case itself stopped about half way between each fleet.
"The case contains the payment in Peggats."

| "Good. We will send over the slaves once we verify payment is what you say it is." The Epicanthix was hardly worried about the fleet closing in. They wanted to secure their investment, which was fair. Of course, he wanted to ensure he'd been paid. AN HLAF-500 would swing close to the case and, with a sealed spacesuit, crack the cockpit to retrieve the case and there, between the two fleets, check the payment. If it was exactly what it was supposed to be, the BFF-1 freighters would be turned over without an issue.

| In the case would be the peggats, the entire price of the slaves purchased, with a few extra peggats to make up for credit fluxuations that might ocure. Of course hidden with in the case was also a tracking beacon, a security bit of sorts should the freighters be fill with the less than honest description of the slaves than what was given. The captain kept his arms crossed, waiting now as he spoke. "So, do we have a finished deal or not."

| "We have a deal, sir." The freighters loaded down with the slaves, controlled by very limited rigged-up droid brains and with their nav computers wiped from their last three jumps would move towards the Separatist-type vessels, while the HLAF-500 would head back towards its own fleet. "If we are all satisfied, let us part friends." Before they even left the system, the peggats would be removed from the case and the case jettisoned.

| The Hardcells moved closer, hooking up with the BFF-1 Freighters to check on the slaves that had just been purchased, of course with the thought that the case would be jettisoned, the peggats had also been marked to make them tracable to ensure that had they been screwed over, they'd still be able to recover the bulk of their peggats from whomever would eventually end up with them. The guards on the Hardcells would slowly enter the bulk freighters and begin to take an inventory of the stock.

| Valencia was not the sort to lie or shortchange customers; all freighters contained the requested amount of slaves to be delivered. His fleet was already outbound by now, leaving the others to their human cargo. The peggats were likely to be worth more in the solid form and as such, would likely be melted down and reformed into bars of gold. Valencia was about to pour a goodly amount of coin into upgrading his slaving fleet.

| After the slaves where checked, the vessels where slaved together before the entire fleet jumped away from the system.
