At the same time as the Cronese Navy were falling upon the forces of Shiva, the People's Front of Dantooine were making a rare but as it turns out well timed foray int Mandate Space. Two GR-75s and a Muurian Transport exited hyperspace, posing as a small protected convoy resting from their route through the Kismaano bypass by stopping off here.

They proceeded towards Kismaano and raised them on the communicator. "Kismaano Security, this is the Deralian Convoy "Yaktek" requesting permission to rest our engines here a while do do repairs?" spoke the crewman. Sadly the ambush had not been able to use the Maurauder-class Corvette as it would have required the use of Dantooine crewmen, but these few vessels with assorted refugee pilots had proven more amenable to the idea of a raid on this area, just to keep Jamie the Hutt's hand in - so to speak.

They scanned the world in a curious manner (as any approaching freighter would) checking for major population centres, orbitals and military centers.

The scans would prove futile, as many of the cliff dwellings were hidden due to the thick rock faces that they were built into. They would recieve a reply to their message though. "This is Kismaano Docks, you're a long way from Deralia aren't you folks. We have little to provide beyond fuel, and currently all our stations are filled. If you remain in orbit, we will send up a shuttle to refuel your ships and send you on your way."

"Any chance we can land and get supplies? Spoke the Captain of the Muurian Freighter."

"We're sorry, all of our docks are filled at this moment, and due to a recent attack, security has been heightened. No ships are being allowed clearance to land unless they are Cronese Government or Cronese Navy, or Imperial Naval ships. We can send a shuttle up to off load supplies, beyond that though, there is nothing else we can do."

"Send her up, just interested in two crates of food, fresh would be good but compressed rations would do. 200 Litres of Water.. 3 Tons of Hypermatter.. and do you have any TC-98-B Power couplings? You know the hard to get ones? I could use a few of them" spoke the captain of the Muurian transport. The GR-75s altered course, one moving away towards the jump point, the other one and the Muurian Transport loitering around to collect the supplies.

The shuttle would be send up, towing a crate that it could attach to one of the GR-75s, the supplies that they could spare, would be about only 3/4 of what was asked for. Of course the landing control would inform the ships of this as the shuttle disembarked with the crate that held the supplies. The shuttle also being escorted by two starfighters, a safety precaution as the shuttle set the crate in place before it would move away, the three ships returning to the surface.

The Muurian Fighter would immediately begin to engage the fighters (with its seven laser cannons, also firing a proton torpedo at each before closing to engage further) as all the cargo containers from the GR-75 broke off and revealed a lethal pair of Turbolasers and a very heavy Ion cannon. The other GR-75 jumped to Hyperspace as the one which now had exposed its gunnery powered its shields to full and opened fire on the command center with its Turbolasers, aiming just above the cliff where they were based to cause massive destruction in the rock within (ancient rock formation does not react well to megatons of rock above it disappearing and being vaporized) the Ion Cannon also opened fire at the command centre as the freighter began to turn its prow away the two turrets continued their fire upon the settlements.

"FREEDOM!" came across the communicator to the local forces as the Rebels turned on their signal identifying them as rebels "Freedom in the Galaxy! Death to the Empire!"

It was a mundane task to say the least, escorting a convoy that had stopped at Gadon in the Cronese Mandate. Anderson stood on the bridge as he looked to one of the communications officers who approached him, handing him a report as he looked at it. "Are you sure." The man nodded back to Anderson before he spoke, addressing the bridge. "Gentlemen, it looks like we have a new task. Inform the convoy and the other escorts that we will be breaking off on a new mission. Inform them that they should be at full alert now during their time passing through the Mandate. Unknown forces have attacked several area's through out the Mandate." The communications officer nodded as they informed the convoy of the threats that had been popping up across the Mandate as he looked to his officers.

"Set a course to Kismaano, it's the closest world under attack. Have all TIE fighter pilots report to their ready room, I want to be able to launch them immediately." The officers nodded as the TIE fighter pilots were put on alert, the large Imperial Class Star Destroyer jumping to hyperspace, bound for Kismaano to offer aid to the people under attack as Anderson stood on the bridge and waited.

The moment the GR-75 jettisoned the cargo containers and began to fire, the shuttle quickly launched the supply crate up at the underside of the GR-75 before entering a steep dive. The two fighters let off a quick burst of laser cannon fire before rolling away to each side. The lasers hitting against the cargo container, one of them going through the metal and cutting into one of the fuel containers with in, setting off a large explosion under the GR-75, sure to cause some damage as the three vessels quickly moved away. The planet below brought up its few defenses as fighter pilots rushed to the hanger, getting ready to face the attack.

The fuel cannister detonation did not cause much of a problem, as it was in the vacuum of space and it was a laser fired at it the laser would simply tear open the cannister and ignite a small pop with the air in the crate, the rest would be uneffected and the total effect would be a slight glow on the shields as the particles ineffectively bombarded it with little energy. The Turbolaser fire was brutally effective on the clifftop hangar, causing a massive rockslide and chaos on the planet below, the hangar would also find its affairs made rather more chaotic by the fire.

The GR-75, having made its attack on the planet, causing electronic disturbances and rockslide it moved off, jumping lightspeed as it completed its turn mentioned previously and jumped to lightspeed on a random trajectory away from the system, planning to recalibrate and return to base later.

The Muurian transport had fired its weapons on the fighters which had made no real defense or attempt to avoid as it did so. As such the effects would likely be deadly upon the smaller and weaker vessels. Never the less the transport turned about and quit the chase after firing a pair of proton torpedoes down towards the hangar on the planet, once turned away it gunned its engines to full momentarily before jumping away to hyperspace.

The attack had not been big or exciting, but it had wasted resources and caused some damage. The Peoples Front of Dantooine had struck again!

The Endeavor dropped out of hyperspace, the vessel's pilots having plotted a course that would put them as close to the attacking forces as possible, according to the last known reports that had come in before they jumped to Kismaano. Anderson stood on the bridge, the ship already at full alert, its weapons and shields ready as it picked up the Muurian transport, and GR-75 about to jump to Hyperspace (Even smaller vessels would take some time to get a hyperdrive ready, including calculating the jump coordinates and such.) The Endeavor quickly brought its Heavy Ion Cannons to bear, as they adjusted their heading and went after the two vessels, the Ion Cannons firing towards them, the gunners aiming for each vessels engine section to take out their hyperdrives and prevent them from jumping away, as the Heavy Turbolaser cannons where brought up, the weapons targeting the ships and getting ready to fire should the enemy deem it necessary to try and fight.

The vessels had already jumped away and so there was no problem. Also as stated they jumped on random trajectories away from the system so did not require much computer runtime to calculate a route. It should be noted that Anderson did not spend any time "warming up his hyperdrive" or "calculating trajectories" before appearing on a (difficult to plot) course which was close to the small freighters.

The Endeavor would remain in orbit over Kismaano, offering any support and relif they could to the Imperial citizens on Kismaano.
