Through the endless black void of space cruised the Rogue Planetoid.. dimly in the distance one star began to become more prominent than the others.. Spinning on a course which would unite the two as lovers was Aeeq. Basking in the warm sun of the Aeeq System's star, the Rogue Planetoid was generally really pleased "What wonderful new friends I have met" it would think (if it could think) as its surface defrosted somewhat and it danced an elegant course through the system.

Several days ahead of it was the planet itself, a lovely water world which seemed very keen to be his friend. They felt attracted to eachother in a way neither could adequately explain (gravity) and like stags rutting for a doe on heat they hurtled towards eachother, faster and faster, the gravitational effects being felt even at this extreme distance.

With nothing and nobody to stand in its way, the Rogue Planetoid and Aeeq hurtled together like two lovers, separated for too long. "What a great friend I have in the rogue planetoid I have :)" Aeeq might think (in a similar way to how a tortoise might view an eagle as it was dragged into the sky, seeing like never before.. until the drop). Together they hurtled and the Rogue planetoid and Aeeq had a brief but violent union.

The Rogue Planetoid, a smaller body impacted across the most heavily populated side of Aeeq (not that it mattered), the people of Aeeq screaming, shouting and bemoaning their fate as the gravatic effects caused them to die before the massive impact of the Rogue Planetoid split the world's crust, letting the oceans in and causing them to vaporize on contact with the mantle, filling the atmosphere with hot steam and the oceans to temporarily die.

Aeeq was bumped out of its orbit, towards the Aeeq system's star, now a dead world of calamity, its atmosphere and magnetic fields stripped by the displacement of its core, there would be no survivors from the combination of the impact, the gravatic effects (evey citizens having suffered hundreds of gs on impact), the impact itself, the solar radiation and, in days to come, the burning agony as, bereft of an atmosphere or a stable core, the planet would begin to break up and disintegrate as it orbited ominously closer to the sun, becoming hotter and hotter. The seas would eventually float away, along with the atmosphere due to the lack of centralized gravity.

Thus died Aeeq.

The impact of the encounter sent the Rogue Planetoid rocking away, but being composed almost exclusively of rock (having no molten core) it did not break or crack significantly, but did have a large sum of rock sheared off as it impacted Aeeq and rolled across it momentarily before continuing on its course out of the systme. In days to come it would find its mass added to by small meteors and asteroids from Aeeq's destruction and the system generally as its gravity made chaos of formerly stable asteroid belts, making the system difficult to navigate.

The moon is dark, and the gods dance in the night; there is terror in the sky, for upon the moon hath sunk an eclipse foretold in no books of men...
