| Ja’nar would listen to his idea for this organization raising a brow slightly “why speak with the senators? Most hold no real power on their planets, go directly to the leaders, though I do understand at times these senators are the only way others can gain an audience with a planet’s leader, it’s a waste of time. Everyone will say it is an excellent idea, and it will pass but then there will be very little follow through.”
Ja’nar would take another long sip of her drink, thinking as she did so, “I’m sure this is not your first rodeo, but remember everyone has an agenda of their own and they only do things for personal gain, I learned that lesson early on in life as most do, don’t let any of them fool you, care not for the galaxy or its people, they care only for themselves and what you can do to advance them or their goals.”

| "Senators have more power than you'd think, Ja'nar. I've watched the proceedings of the Senate for quite some time before I acted upon this idea. The majority of the Senators I have seen nearly appear to run their planets in their own fashion. I feel that GalacticAid may have more supporters than you might think; at least I hope so." Stark paused again to savor his own drink. GalacticAid was a bet, in a sense, that he was willing to take. It would pay off in the end. "I am aware that all people have an agenda, or at least seem to have one. If they seek to advance themselves by backing GalacticAid, then that would seem to help me in turn, advance the cause of humanitarianism and assistance to the galaxy's downtrodden. The Clone Wars are not so far gone that people can simply forget the suffering."

| Ja'nar would shrug her shoulders, "I hope that is the case Alyn, I really do that hope that they are willing to help for whatever reason, just be cautious of those who you befriend, I have been burned many times by difference senators over the years, they are not a trustworthy bunch, like I have said before in open session, I wish I could throw some of them into a Sarlac pit." she would just smile, replaying the images of pushing a few select senators over the edge of a sailing barge on Tatoonie. "You are correct though, the Clone Wars are not so far gone and I believe another war will soon be upon us, we need to help those who are in need, where ever we can, whenever we can." She would frown slightly as she thought of something but then just shook her head, it didn't matter, she wasn't allowed her him for another 5 hours and it was better she was out doing something constructive or at least something that would keep her mind from dwelling in it. "So this party you are throwing, what is the reason behind it?"

| Stark chuckled at the image Ja'nar's words evoked; indeed, there were likely many who would want to see some of the Senators tossed into a pit. For that matter, there were those on Lorrd who would likely even want to see Stark tossed into a pit, yet here he remained. "I will heed your warning when it comes to choosing friends then. As for the party, I hope it will give senators the chance to get to know me a little; to see the type of person I am and to understand why I want to help people as much as I do."

| Ja'nar would just laugh "Good luck with that, you will be pulled in so many directions you won't know where you are by the end of the night." she would shake her head a bit, "Well, what would you like to do next, I still have a lot of time to kill before my next appointment, if you could call it that." She would shrug her shoulders "I could take you on a tour of the Senate building, give you a good idea where everything is, in case you want to pay some senators a visit."

| "Oh, my dear, dear Ja'nar, politics are no real stranger to me. If I can survive the intricate nature of politics on Lorrd without making too many enemies, then I'm confident I can survive a simple evening of good cheer." He gave her a smile again. "By all means, lead on. You are the expert on Imperial Center and I am your earnest guest who wishes only to learn more. It might help if I gain a better feel of some of the senators, after all."

| Ja’nar would smile and nod her head, as she leaves a credit chip on the table as she pushes herself up to her feet, allowing her gown to fall into place, “It may, if nothing else it will allow you to see where most senators send a lot of the their time or very little of their time.” She would smile once more “Or we could always go back to my place.” She would laugh a bit as she moves out of the small café. If Mackey was with her, he wouldn’t have found that funny at all.
Ja’nar would lead him through the crowds of people towards the senate complex, it wasn’t that far from the café, that was why she had chosen it, it was still in the territory that she was familiar with. Ja’nar would glance to him, “So tell me about Lorrd, I must say I have had very little time to do research on the planet, does it have a senator? I do not recall ever seeing a senator for your planet but that does not mean there isn’t one. There is no way I could know every senator.”

| Rising with Ja'nar, he moved to her side to depart the small eatery. "As interested as I am in seeing your abode here, my dear Ja'nar, the senate hall should be quite fascinating." His voice was filled with dry amusement for a moment before falling silent as they threaded their way through the crowds. "Lorrd does not exactly have a senator, so to speak. There is a representative that is chosen through mutual selection by the three Houses that govern Lorrdian politics. Lorrd often remains silent in the Senate though; when I was last tied in to the political maneuverings of my former House, it seemed as if Lorrd wished to deal with internal matters rather than the galactic ones; choosing to abide by the rules that are put forth as they come."
