A Trip to Nadiem

| It wasn't Shiva who would make the trip to Nadiem, nor even one of his primary lieutenants, such as Phen Varak. Instead, it was a lieutenant of the aforementioned lieutenant, a rather small, wiry human by the name of Thalos Myr. Making his way inconspicuously via public transit vessels, he'd come to Nadiem and then to the Broken Cog as instructed. The place seemed traditional, in most senses of the word. There was privacy and alcoholic beverages and people who'd likely consume far too many. Instead of trying to muddle through conversations, Myr bellied his small frame up to the bar and asked the tender, "Can you direct me to an Ern, please? I believe he's holding on to something for me."

| "Here you go stranger, your nice warm ale" said the bartender with a loud voice, handing the Lieutenant a tankard of frothing room temperature ale with a barmat. On the barmat was scribbled a comms number.

| Thalos Myr accepted both items and made his way to a corner booth, out of the way and with some privacy, as well as with one of the built-in comms that certain cantinas had for local access. Paying the fee, he tapped in the number he'd been given and sent a message:
'I don't know who you are, but I am here on Nadiem. Let's talk.'

| A member of the Alsakan resistance picked up, sitting in a dive bar in the Imperial Center underlevels, using a disposable communicator he had bought using cash.
"Hello there, I take it you received our message."

| Myr was still unsure of whom he was talking to. Nonetheless, Phen Varak had given him generous bargaining room with the people he'd be dealing with so, for the moment, Myr was quite comfortable. "Indeed, your message was received and agreed with on many points, though you may notice Shiva has not been visibly operating in the galaxy for a brief spell. What is it we can do for you gentlemen?"
