Moff Geoff Cole was a fair, but stern man. He was good to the people of the Abrion Sector, so long as they followed the rules, he meted out fair justice when needed to human and alien alike (though being a product of Human High Culture, he was biased against non-humans); he was a successful, legitimate businessman with a sector listed among the top five sectors within the galaxy where crime was at the least. Cole, however, could not abide pirates, smugglers, Separatists and all other ilk who he viewed as ruining the Empire he loved so much. The memo that crossed his desk, therefore, evoked a number of reactions. The first and by far, most obvious, was that the message was a hoax, or so he thought until he viewed the images. Images could be duplicated though, and he knew of no person who would utilize an old Republic-era code to send him such, unless they were specifically trying to get his attention; it had been the encryption that had drawn him and kept him from deleting the message with the junk that came his way at times.

There had been a recent conversation between himself and Gran Vizier Pestage about the varied Separatist groups and rebellious factions as dangers to the galaxy. It hadn't helped that, some time later, his message to Imperial Naval Command regarding the loss of vessels and personnel to Mandalorian raiders had gone unnoticed and not replied to. Giving in to a moment of fantasy, in which his forces personally vanquished a threat to the galaxy, Moff Cole called up a few bits of information. The Danjar Sector, in the Metharian Nebula Territories, was practically a dead sector, with only Queyta as a possibly habitable planet. Furthermore, the Danjar Sector had no Moff, for there was no reason for one. It was, in effect, a dead zone; a dead zone where Cole could flex his power. Oh, it could be a trap likely, Cole was far ahead of the opposition. Calling to an aide, he began to issue orders.

"Major Wilkes, I have a number of things that need to be dealt with immediately. Rear Admiral Brogan is to meet me here within an hour. Instruct him to ready the Cloak for departure as flag of a modified superiority fleet. Task to him the Dorash, Redoubt, Solaris, Night Sky, Reliant, Horn and the pair of Strike cruisers who were with him at Roon, the Dauntless and the Spire. Inform him he will be facing a number of droid starfighters and as such, I am allotting him use of a pair of Tartan patrol cruisers; Shrike and Phobos. Ensure his has the Shatter at all costs. Get to it, Major."

---

Above Abrion Major, a gathering dance began around the wedge-shaped form of the Cloak as Rear Admiral Jeremy Brogan's old friends, captains all, gathered to him for another run. The Dorash, just released from repair, had not yet been given the chance of a shakedown cruise. As before, the EF76 Nebulon-B frigate would be acting as TacCom for the superiority fleet. The Redoubt, Solaris and Night Sky, along with the Lancer-class frigates Reliant and Horn would make the primary assault force, the hammer, so to speak, against the anvil of the Strike-class cruisers Dauntless and Spire. If truth be told, though, Brogan himself, calm and in command of his abilities even after his briefing with Cole, did not even expect to need that much force; he could afford to allow the smaller ships' captains to have the major glory of this fight, while he commanded the operations from the Cloak.

Despite the indomitable power of the Star Destroyer and the might it represented, Brogan was glad to have the pair of Tartan cruisers guarding his rear; rumors and twisted fact abounded of Star Destroyers on Kamino and Alurion being ambushed and damaged from the rear; even to the point of an entire Star Destroyer being stolen and its crew tossed to the mercy of space. Of course, the capstone of Brogan superiority fleet was Abrion Sector's sole CC-2200 Detainer, Shatter, which had expertly performed in a number of anti-pirate and anti-smuggling raids and operations. Things were set to explode into a powder keg of action; one, Brogan and Cole both hoped, that would see the end of a Separatist threat to the Empire.

(( There is no record of a "Immobilizer-417", in the canon or as an approved custom design. You are more than welcome to submit one, otherwise it is recommended that the Shatter be changed to a Detainer CC-2200 Interdictor Cruiser, as the Immobilizer 418-class Interdictor Cruiser is not in use until 2 BBY. ))

(( My mistake on two parts. I had meant the 418 version, but as to a changeover, I would prefer the CC-7700, which is said to exist in the proper timeline, if that is acceptable. ))

(( Unfortunately, the CC-7700 does not have any record as a vessel in use by the Empire, appearing to be one of many of CEC's subversions against the Empire during this time frame. The Detainer will be all that is available at this time for interdiction use by Imperial forces. ))
