| At Monor II, the people were gently assembled in the streets of the Capital. Their voices sung out in choir holding an hour long ceremony and blessed convocation before the His Most Holy Majesty Priest Prince Agapos IX, Divine Ruler of Monor II, Lord of the Heavens, Charioteer of the Wagon of the Sun, Steersman of the Barque of the Sun, Guardian of the Secret Knowledge, Lord of the Horizon, Keeper of the Way, the Flail of Mercy, the High Born One, the Never Dying King &c approached the pulpit as the sun reached it's home at sunset and the new ships were under Monor II control.
Priests sung out in immaculate choir "Hear now the words of His Most Holy Majesty Priest Prince Agapos IX, Divine Ruler of Monor II, Lord of the Heavens, Charioteer of the Wagon of the Sun, Steersman of the Barque of the Sun, Guardian of the Secret Knowledge, Lord of the Horizon, Keeper of the Way, the Flail of Mercy, the High Born One, the Never Dying King &c. Hear now the words of His Most Holy Majesty Priest Prince Agapos IX, Divine Ruler of Monor II, Lord of the Heavens, Charioteer of the Wagon of the Sun, Steersman of the Barque of the Sun, Guardian of the Secret Knowledge, Lord of the Horizon, Keeper of the Way, the Flail of Mercy, the High Born One, the Never Dying King &c our blessed saviour and King."
At the conclusion of the hymn, Agapos reached the top of the large pulpit over the crowds where on his left a fountain of water bubbled under a metal cover and on his right were a pillar of flame burned. He was followed by two priests. "The Maker is here!" he spoke the words to the crowd who replied "His spirit is with us!" in the well known ceremony. "Lift up your hearts" spake Agapos and the reply "We lift them to the Maker!" he nodded "It is right to give him thanks and praise, for it is he who gave us the seasons and his blessed joy which allows us to live." the crowd then sung back "Praise him, praise him, praiiiiiise him."
At the conclusion of the short song, Agapos spoke again "It is traditional at this year of the cycle, to enter the season of peace. For just as the Maker did trample the vineyard of Gash and solemnise the destruction of the Library of Evil, so he did also give the healing balms to the Mekronites, to the Aganonites and to the Monorese. So we also remember every second season that the sword, whether the sword of war or the metaphorical sword of debate, fire of zeal or axe of redemption must sometimes be set aside. Truly we are a people with open minds, and so while at times we prosletise and convert, sometimes we must also contemplate and recline in peace to regain our love and fervour.
We have known great joy and great sadness in the previous year, and I do hope that in the following year we continue to see our bonds of joy and friendship grow with all in our Sector and beyond. I hope that by our example of truth, goodness and passivity that we might convince others that the sword is not the best way to protest and to serve their people. Greater always is the peacemaker.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall find profit. Blessed are the healers, for they shall find justice. Blessed are the generous, for they shall find nebulous rewards in the life to come. Thus I proclaim the season of fire at a close, and the season of water, of peace and amity to be at the opening."
In the name of the Maker, hear my prayer." the crowd replied "Hear our prayer."
Agapos spake again, reading a story from the Holy Praisements and Worship Stories of the Maker.
"A reading from the Praisement of Agapos III:
1. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of Agapos.
4. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5. Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the MAKER thy God, and for the Holy One of Monor; for he hath glorified thee.
6. Seek ye the MAKER while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the MAKER, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the MAKER.
9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the MAKER for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off burneth your mightiest ships of war and be good unto eachother, eat and love me. And the sky shall dance with joy and peace shall reign for the year.
This is the word of the Maker" the being finished, a scribe scurrying away with the collosal book upon his back as the crowd again gave a response "This is the word of the Maker"
Agapos the second took the rod of moving and screwed firmly onto it's ancient haft the hook of unbounded joy. Moving it carefully he moved the cover from the fountain, revealing it's illuminated bubbling water and placed it on the small pillar of flame, confining it within the stained transparisteel and iron frame. The crowd sighed with satisfaction was it was completed.
The Priest Prince set aside the rod to a companion and looked to the sky where even now the new ships of Monor II were visible in high orbit. Silently blue explosions spread out around them as they imploded and then exploded, annihalating themselves utterly (having been set to self destruct and abandoned). The electromagnetic release of the detonation caused a beautiful aurora which swept the sky gently for hours to come as the ceremony was completed. The prophesy was completed and the ceremony too, as the people of Monor II feasted, and drank, and grew fat in merriment at the day and it's glories.
His Most Holy Majesty Priest Prince Agapos IX Divine Ruler of Monor II, Lord of the Heavens, Charioteer of the Wagon of the Sun, Steersman of the Barque of the Sun, Guardian of the Secret Knowledge, Lord of the Horizon, Keeper of the Way, the Flail of Mercy, the High Born One, the Never Dying King &c
