| Jeffrey Hodder arrived on Tammuz-an in a J-type star skiff registered as the Honor Bound. His purpose on the world, with a protocol droid to act as a legal aide, was to finalize matters he had previously discussed with the sector shipping office. Once transport had been organized, Hodder and his droid would make their way for the government offices area; likely a large structure on a capital world. Once there, he would seek out the nearest directory, help desk or other user-friendly system to inquire as to what offices he would need to go to to be able to finalize the setup of his company in the Tammuz Sector.

| Assuming everything was above board, Hodder & Sons Shipping, Inc. would be all set to go. The Tammuz Sector trade office was a small, even quaint operation but was quite business friendly and there were few obstacles, if any, to Mr. Hodder's company setting up shop (the most significant of which was the fact that "hodder" sounded like the word "ha-der" in the Tammuz language, used uncommonly to mean "courage and determination" but more often as slang for ejaculate—Mr. Hodder would be politely urged to change the name of the company). Tammuz-an, however, cognizant of its status as the sector capital and its position nearer to the sector's trade route than any of its neighbors and thus the de facto trade hub of the Tammuz Sector, charged quite a lot of fees and a not insignificant tax on the company's profits (that would be phased out after one standard year in operation) as well as a "hidden tax" in the form of a mandatory annual contribution to the planet's fabled Starfighter Corps. He also had to agree not to operate his office on the many religious holidays on Tammuz-an, though shipping would still be permissible.
Finally, King Julpa would be an (non-voting) "honorary shareholder" for the reason that all things on Tammuz-an technically belonged to the King, and would formally be entitled to attend board meetings and scrutinize the company's finances; however, Mr. Hodder would be assured that this was only a formality and that King Julpa never exercised this power.

| Hodder would be more than understanding of how his family's name was oddly pronounced within this system, and counter with the fact that the name had been within the shipping family for over ten generations and as such, he could not rightfully change the name over a simple fact as was the issue. After all, as he'd point out, it wasn't so much what people pronounced the name as, so much as it was whether the company delivered their goods on time. When he was informed of the taxes and of course, of King Julpa's position, Hodder would look confused and then slightly apologetic.
"Perhaps, sir, I have made an error of sorts. I do indeed wish to set up a branch here in the Tammuz Sector, but not on Tammuz-an itself, I'm afraid. Shiffrin was my primary choice. In terms of trade distance, Tammuz-an is closer to Gamorr than Shiffrin is to Lyran, but I confess that people may not be so willing to deal on Gamorr than they will on Lyran. As such, I am requesting the location for Shiffrin."

| The trade officer, a perennially apologetic Tammuz-an, was understanding and explained to Mr. Hodder in his frustratingly slow Basic that the restrictions applied only to the office he had stated his intention to open on Tammuz-an. He was, of course, permitted to base most of his operations out of Shiffrin and, naturally, the Shiffrin operations would not be subject to Tammuz-an's fees, etc.

| Being a man of honorable intent and purpose, Hodder also explained that, providing all went well on Shiffrin, Hodder was have no objection to opening another office on Tammuz-an that King Julpa would be more than able to hold a partnership in. With that being said, Hodder would go ahead to sign what papers were necessary, with the watchful legal droid there to clarify anything that Hodder didn't understand about trade papers (which would be little) and in general ensure all was done properly. Hodder would then pay what fees would be necessary and hopefully, conclude the deal with all sides happy.

| The trade officer realized his error and apologized; he'd thought Mr. Hodder intended to open an office on the sector capital and attributed the misunderstanding to minute differences between the Tammuz language and Basic, the two having become increasingly intertwined since the rise of the Empire and Tammuz-an's embrace of Imperial customs. Gone were the turbans of the planet's recent past, for instance, in favor of more spartan Imperial fashions. Basic was more commonly spoken too, but clearly misunderstandings persisted on Tammuz-an's quest for modernity. The trade officer stamped all the necessary documents and tossed out those that weren't necessary, then shook hands with Mr. Hodder and offered a night with one of his daughters as recompense for the error.

| Hodder, married, politely declined, having an acceptance for oddities provided by customs outside that which he was used to. Barring any other issues, he'd be on his way to Shiffrin to set up shop.
