| Recently, the Senate has been dominated by debate over Deralia's military incursion into the Dantooine system. Many have demanded the proof which we went into Dantooine with be made public. Deralia, obviously, has resisted these demands. It was not a concern of the Senate, but that of Deralia and the Ruling Council, which saw the proof and following which did not oppose Deralia's proposed response, while also giving possible alternatives to consider. Considering the political climate and situation on Dantooine, the original course of action that was considered was deemed most appropriate. This is even more evident as being true, through the Khoonda Administration completely ignoring the facts and not even raising a finger to investigate the situation. Furthermore, the Khoonda Administration has deceived and disrespected the Kingdom of Deralia by proposing the prisoner transfer of captured terrorists, only to be handing over individuals it claims was part of a special forces team which there is still no proof of having even existed, let alone operating on Dantooine. The proof, which the Senate has been so incensed to have privilege to, unnecessarily, is this:
A Deralian citizen by the name of Aldo Romano, who went out into the galaxy looking to set up a new home and his own business, and ended up on Dantooine. Many of our citizens look to set up business off-world to feed credits back to Deralia, and Mr. Romano was not the first, and not the last, to attempt to do so. Mr. Romano's shop, which doubled as his home and the home of the workers he employed, was fire bombed in the middle of the night. He and his family, who lived above the shop, were able to escape. His workers however, all Deralian citizens as well, were unable to escape, living underneath the shop, and were burned alive. Why were they attacked? For the simple fact that they were Deralians. Mr. Romano returned to Deralia following the incident, with his family safely with him, and was interviewed by the Deralian Royal Intelligence Service. According to Mr. Romano's account, the only man he readily identified at the scene of the attack was a notable citizen of Dantoone by the name of Vincent Le Grange, a self-proclaimed Colonel and leader of a group called the Garang Irregulars. They are one of many independent militia organizations that exist upon Dantooine, independent of the planetary government's Khoonda Milita. The Garang Irregulars are notable however, as our intelligence community suspects their involvement in reported resistance activity on the planet of Dantooine, and involved with the People's Front of Dantooine.
This is notable, due to the second event which sent us into Dantooine. A Marauder-class Corvette, matching the markings of a like vessel which attacked an Imperial-class Star Destroyer at Alurion, dropped out of hyperspace over one of Deralia's populated moons, Celest. "Death" was called out on comms, following which an orbital bombardment of the moon occurred. "YEEEEEEHAAAAAA" was exclaimed across the comm, an expression of Dantooinian origin, before the craft suddenly retreated. Our force were unavailable to respond as they were performing customs duty on the edge of the system. The People's Front of the Rim claimed responsibility of the attack. Our intelligence leads us to believe that they either are, or are an parent organization to, the People's Front of Dantooine; either way known terrorist organizations, which the Garang Irregular's are known to be affiliated with. What our sensor data was able to obtain, gave us enough to say with certainty that the Marauder which attacked on of our Star Destroyes earlier in the year, and launched this cowardly attack, are both one in the same. It is this fact that leads us to believe that the People's Front of the Rim and People's Front of Dantooine are one and the same, or at worst, parts of a larger network, and that the Garang Irregulars are affiliated with, if not a part of, these elements and/or network. These groups are known to operate on and around Dantooine and the Raioballo Sector.
It is the hope of His Highness, King Deralius the Twentieth, that this finally puts the matter to rest so the Senate my remove the unjust sanctions against Deralia and move on to more important matters.
His Majesty Deralius the Twentieth King of Deralia and Deralian Dominions

| Bernard Oriel would appear on the news networks, picking apart the "proof" broadly as follows. His views would be endorsed by the vast majority of the legal community.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) A Deralian citizen by the name of Aldo Romano, who went out into the galaxy looking to set up a new home and his own business, and ended up on Dantooine.
A terrible crime. But not an act of terrorism, a hate crime perhaps. A single crime is not a legitimate casus belli, especially without attempting to go to the numerous outlets of justice the Empire offers.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) According to Mr.
Yes - the Garang Irregulars are the civil fire brigade for Garang and the surrounding area - no more "military" than any other firefighters on Dantooine. Let it also be noted that the civil milita was raised against the CIS in the Clone Wars and fought loyally and heroically in the defense of Dantooine.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) The Garang Irregulars are notable however, as our intelligence community suspects their involvement in reported resistance activity on the planet of Dantooine, and involved with the People's Front of Dantooine.
Conjecture and hearsay. No evidence is presented here "suspicion" is not evidence. Deralia needs to start to realize this. Having spoken to the Colonel of the Dantooine Militia, the only "rebellious" activities which have been reported from the "People's Front" have been the painting of several nerfs with rebellious messages, and the throwing of fecal matter at Militia officers. This is hardly consistent with the image of a massive inter-planetary terrorist organization.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) This is notable, due to the second event which sent us into Dantooine.
Weren't the forces which attacked Alurion matched in recent reports to the "Red Mynocks", a group which while piratical and rebellious has never had any links (proven or suggested) with Dantooine. Lets also remember that this attack from the Red Mynocks happened after Deralia requested permission to attack Dantooine so can't be thought of as a "cause".
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) "YEEEEEEHAAAAAA" was exclaimed across the comm, an expression of Dantooinian origin, before the craft suddenly retreated. Our force were unavailable to respond as they were performing customs duty on the edge of the system.
This shows the amazing ignorance of the Deralian "intelligence" agency. This is a phrase I have heard used on worlds as far apart as Corellia, Naboo and Socorro. The phrase is widely used by all humans and is simply the natural noise made to express elation in many cultures.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) Our force were unavailable to respond as they were performing customs duty on the edge of the system.
Apparently the idea never occured to King Deralius that it is important to keep a ship on standby to protect his world. With his massive fleet you might imagine that this would be a priority, considering he considers Deralia to be such a high value world.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) The People's Front of the Rim claimed responsibility of the attack. Our intelligence leads us to believe that they either are, or are an parent organization to, the People's Front of Dantooine; either way known terrorist organizations, which the Garang Irregular's are known to be affiliated with.
Because they both have the name "people's front"? Do you know how common this parlance is? Your average terrestrial world of 6 billion has more than half a dozen organizations with "people's front" in their name. The fact Dantooine has one too is a hugely conjectural view which would not stand up in any court of law. This is sounding more and more like the kind of conspiracy theory the more irrational kind of holonet forum dweller would come up with.
Quote (King_Deralius_XX) What our sensor data was able to obtain, gave us enough to say with certainty that the Marauder which attacked on of our Star Destroyes earlier in the year, and launched this cowardly attack, are both one in the same.
The vessel may be the same, but it was then affiliated with the "Red Mynock" rebel pirate group who they fought alongside there. Did the ship somehow transfer from one to the other?
King Deralius is simply conjouring conspiracies out of the air here, linking an association of slightly dissatisfied farmers (protesting against certain taxes) who's only "attacks" have involved either painting nerfs or throwing dung with a complex attack on an Imperial Star Destroyer and raid on a Moon - I simply don't think it is at all plausible and smacks of a conspiracy theory!
What I wonder is how Deralia seriously expects anyone to be convinced by their ragtag of conjecture, hearsay and assertion. This document contains zero evidence which would stand up in a court. Deralia needs to stop making up ridiculous stories and conjecture to try and justify it's way out of punishment and just accept that the galactic community believes it is not right for one world to attack another with no evidence.
To cause this grounds for suspicion would be laughable.
To call this evidence would be risible.
To call this proof would be humiliating.
To call this cause for war is shaming.
I do think we should all take a minute to remember the 36 Dantooinians and several hundred Deralians who died due to the senseless military policy of King Deralius.
