(( Since Carl is taking a good minute, I'm trying to run these threads concurrently with a bit of future in this one, since I know Jamie gets on his stuff cause he lives here too. Lol. ))

Stark's visit with the Cronese Mandate was an unsure victory in some ways, depending on how one looked at it. However, the call now drew him to the Tammuz Sector, to Tammuz-an itself where he intended to meet with Moff Simon Levi, perhaps the most influential man within the sector. There was, by Stark's own necessity, a need to swing by Shiffrin as well. He'd heard rumors of pirates there through certain chains in recent days and wanted to see if what he'd heard was true. A little brush with pirates might be just the thing to break the monotony, and it had been a matter of discussion between himself and the pilots on the yacht. Naturally, the yacht's crew bore it in stride, but he could tell they would not be comfortable getting into a fight with the craft. Alyn, whose personal freighter was locked in beneath the ship, giving it an odd appearance, did not mind as much, though he would be put out if his yacht was damaged. The thought of destroyed did not even come into his mind; he was that confident of his crew and ships.

It was without incident that he and his emerged near Tammuz-an, transmitting coordinates so as to be able to come planetside and requesting through the docking control that Moff Simon Levi be informed of Stark's arrival.

Moff Simon Levi would do nothing. If the man had organised a meeting with his office he would be kept waiting for 20 minutes in a waiting room if he arrived on time. Once he had been kept waiting in the obligatorily uncomfortable chair, Stark would be shown up to the office of Moff Levi. The design was simple, with a wide window. In front of the window was a simple metal desk and chair, a data pad lying on it. In front of the desk was a simple metal chair, nothing fancy.

The Moff was no great respecter of money, and certainly had no plans to go out of way for this man. He would continue to work on his datapad until Stark spoke or made himself known overtly. At which stage he would look up, giving the man a look with his amicable face, quite in contrast to the image which surrounded him (mostly coming from Deralia).

Stark had little expectations in any situations that his monetary status would gain him entry into places quicker. If anythi9ng, because of the jealousy most people had for those wealthier than themselves, he expected quite the opposite. With Moffs that he was wealthier than, it was hit or miss. Moff Shirnoq had been a clear miss. By the time he walked into Moff Levi's office, he felt it might well be a good hit. Accepting the simple metal chair with no sign of discomfort, his old military bearing coming back to him as he sat, he offered Levi a smile. "Moff Levi, thank you for seeing me. I understand you're a very busy man, so I will try not to take up too much of your time. I am here in reference to GalacticAid's bill, which recently passed in the Senate.

"From everything I have read or heard, Moff, you are an amicable man with the best interests of his people in mind. I had hopes you would support a GalacticAid facility one of your worlds; Tammuz-an to be specific. It was my hope that if if Tammuz-an supported the humanitarian effort to help people, other worlds with, shall we say, problematic issues would be more likely to edge back into normalcy and understand that not everybody is against them, if you catch my meaning."
