[Acherin Government Temporary Placement Camp]
Many shuttles would sprout activity in the skies of Acherin. Within the outskirt of Sood, the shuttles would land and offload their cargo of Aeeq refugees. From their landing, the refugees were herded into a line, where their information was taken down. Multiple lines formed at the foot of the shuttle bays and sometimes, civilians had to be pushed out of the way so that the shuttles could land. It was a long in-processing day. Once they were formally logged, they were led into multiple buildings. Single males, or so they claimed, were placed with other single males. The same with for females as well. As for the families, they were placed into individual rooms that somewhat fitted them comfortable. They were allowed a couple hours of sleep and able to shower in many of the open showers accessible to them. Families were given somewhat individual showers, but had to share with several other family members. While all of this was happening, the information provided by the individual was placed into a data-banks of Acherin, then cross-referenced with the Imperial database to see if there were any individuals that had outstanding crimes and warrants against them. Those individuals identified were dealt with... swiftly and securely. All in all, 300,000 Aeeq were accepted onto Acherin. The rest, were sent back to await transport to Telos IV.
The facility rested outside of Sood. There were multiple fences going around the encampment with Security Personnel conducting perimeter patrols as well as ensuring that no one tried to run. The fences, as told by Acherin personnel processing the Aeeq refugees, for their protection. It was, in fact, to ensure that no one escaped the in-processing. Multiple vehicles would conduct patrols, and several sniper units would set up away from the camp to ensure that they had a clear shot. Guard towers as well as security cameras were in place. This of course, was for everyone's protection. Military units would also provide backup for security forces.
After getting a little rest, they were herded into a decent sized room. There were limited seats and any seats occupied, meant that the individuals had to stand. A giant projector screen sat at the head of the room, with speakers on each side. In front of it, Acherin security personally (with several undercover Black Hand agents) sat up at the front to ensure that everyone was calm and collective. Suddenly the room went black and several individuals begun to talk, however the giant face of Draken Tu'Rot would soon become visible to many. With a big smile on his face, he would start to speak... or rather, the recording he had made would start to play.
"Ladies and Gentlemen... welcome to your new life here as Acherin citizens!"
"While your stay here at the Temporary Placement camp will be short, there will be much to do in our short time to ensure that you all are properly processed and brought into your new lives here on Acherin! I ask that you remain ever so vigilant and loyal to Acherin Support Personnel as they work to better serve you. We must screen you all for any sort of disease that may require medical treatment, or any sort of alignment that may seek treatment. That said, this is your time to alert us of any known condition that we may take care of it right away to ensure you remain strong and healthy for your new lives!"
"I beg of you, lend Acherin your abilities. If you were military, indicate that when you meet with a counselor so that we may restore you to your proper position. If you are an engineer, I beg you, tell us! We will be able to satisfy you all! To those of you that lack an occupation, we will assist you! As your President, you have my utmost assurance that your new home will benefit from your experiences!"
"And most importantly, honesty is key! Be honest with us and we will deal with you a lot better. Welcome to Acherin! You WILL be safe!"
And that was that. Once President Tu'Rot's face disappeared, the group was then herded into a room, where they were separated by man, women + children. The men were to strip down completely as were the women and children and they were, 1 person at a time, placed into a room where they were to give blood and a urine sample. A small piece of their hair was taken for DNA. It was here that the individuals were checked out and asked if they had anything needed to be discussed. Those that were identified as having a disease or needing medical treatment were led to a separate room, where their issues were resolved by either scheduling an appointment or receiving the proper treatment. Anyone identified as having a non-curable disease would have their blood taken in a lockdown area and then ultimately shot to death. Their bodies were taken, placed in body bags and burned. Of course, not many individuals had to suffer this fate
Once the individuals finished the process, they were then led to a counselor whom would take down the refugees former occupation and ensure they had a job. With that being said, the individuals were given information on where they could go in order to get the job.
After everything was said, they were led into a room that had multiple Acherin and Imperials flags. Their stood a podium at the head of the room, followed by an Acherin Military Official in his Dress Black uniform. The Military Official would read off the rules of Acherin and then once everyone agreed to obey them, he would then give the Oath of Citizenship.
"I, state your name, Do hereby swear that we shall remain loyal, productive members of Acherin's society. That we will bare true to our rules and planetary laws that govern not only us, but the galaxy. We also do hereby promise that we will remain loyal to the Imperial Cause and give to the Emperor's will of Peace and Security.
Upon taking the oath, they were instructed to go back to their rooms and collect everything and then were transported to several warehouses that was remade to hold the refugees. Once there, they were given a month to find a place to live, as well as a job. The streets would be filled with new Acherin citizens attempting to get their lives back on track.
However... those identified as having criminal backgrounds were individual taken care off, personally. They were placed into a room, where they were told to sit in the chair, and once they sat down, braces would lock the individual down as two dressed Black Hand Agents would walk in. They'd interrogate the individuals for any sort of information that could be of use to them, and then finally kill them with a shot to the head. Their bodies were burned along with those with medical diseases. However, only high profiled suspects were given this treatment. Low profile subjects were forced to watch multiple videos on how crime does not pay on Acherin.
This was the beginning stage for Aeeq refugees.
