| Ten pirates had been taken from the Xiytiar-class transport, held separate and then taken to Sluis Van, where even now, they awaited their interrogation in ten individual, soundproof rooms. Holocams and recessed microphones kept watch on each of the rooms in the detention facility in which they were held; care had been taken to segregate them from one another, and they had had no conversation since being arrested and detained. Despite the anger towards these pirates for their attack and indeed, even the former attack, which was yet to be linked to them, all had been treated fairly, fed and spared any physical harm or indignities, save for one burly pirate who had resisted savagely and been stunned several times and struck with stun batons before he would submit.
At present, the Sluissi interrogator, Major Khrissth, waited along with the human representative from Sluis Van, Major Childress. Both were awaiting the Brentaalian representative who'd be invited by Senator Domon at Khedive Thisst's request. The office in which they resided was moderately comfortable and they expected that, with the meetings and information exchanged, the Brentaalian would be along before too long.
