Vigilance Technologies Under Fire for Drone Sales
THOVINACK - Certain detractors of Vigilance Technologies have called out the company on its drone sales, lately to Sluis Van. Calling Vigilance Technologies' designs as 'imitations' of Brentaal's Arrowhead-class, which was released more publicly just over a day following the release of Vigilance Technologies' KSRR-001, AS-003 and I-002 series drones. Vigilance Technologies spokesman Ralph Torrent had this to say, "We've received some blame for selling a drone defense product to a former Separatist faction in Sluis Van. However, Sluis Van is a part of the Empire, and a productive member too. Should we deny defense to the people? We have sold drones to Argazda, Mengjini and Alderath. Alderath and Mengjini I might add, have been supporters of the Republic and the Empire all along. We sell based on current fitness, not past transgressions. I believe certain other drone manufacturers are attempting to discredit us for their own nefarious purposes so as to corner the market." While Vigilance Technologies does indeed have detractors, their sales and profits continue to rise. This story will be followed closely in times to come.

Geth Placed on Restricted Planet List
After six additional deaths of Geth in the past two weeks and at the urging of several private citizens, notably Alyn Stark, Lord of the Kinyov Province on Lorrd, Moff Kanzad Shirnoq had placed Geth as a restricted planet, severely limiting the amount of civilian travel to the dead world. "The Moff realizes that while every sentient being has a right to explore where they wish, the combined outcry from parents and families who have lost loved ones to the treacherous wastelands of Geth must be placed first; the Empire takes care of its people." This comment was issued by an adjutant to Moff Shirnoq, who was once again unavailable for comment.
Dorvalla Universal Deal Falls Through
KANZ CITY - With the death last week of Minister Tyrion Malticore, the mining deal slated for Slovo Minor has fallen through. Dorvalla Universal Corporation spokesmen have cited that the time spent waiting for a new Minister of Mining and Industry to be appointed and for all the necessary paperwork to be re-reviewed would be "unprofitable and ultimately cause a loss for Dorvalla Universal." While this represents an overall loss for the Kanz Sector, the localized mining guilds on Slovo Minor are sure to benefit from the lack of privatized mining on the moon.
