In order to secure the Telos IV position (and make more unlikely further Imperial Intervention), the Alsakan Aegis Fleet's Anti-Slavery Group dropped from Hyperspace, two Nebulon B Frigates and two Corellian gunships, with their armed escort of four Skipray Blastboats, the vessels proceeded in-system towards their friends at Telos IV, their Sensors on full boost in order to detect any further threat in the area.

They also targeted their passive sensors extensively upon the Imperial presence, the objective being to make sure they were filmed if they committed any atrocities. Several "aid ships" full of journalists carried supplies down to the planet alongside their more valuable cargo, mobile transmitters quickly broadcasting the news back to Alsakan and the Galaxy in general.

The Imperials knew all about Alsakan's "incrimination agenda," and so did Sirus Voldt, the freshly-minted Imperial Governor of Telos IV. Naturally, he was a busy man, most of his time spent rooting out the Telosian bureaucracy for supporters—what few of them remained—of the former president, who'd been detained and now awaited trial in the Telosian courts. (He also found the time to order the arrest and return of fugitive slaves to Anaxes). But Voldt found a moment to send a courtesy message to Alsakan's party. "There is no need of your assistance here," Voldt told whoever was in charge, or the nearest approximation he'd be put in contact with. "The Benevolent and its accompanying vessels have the planet secured from piracy, and the Telosian ships will return here soon. I ask that your stay here be brief, gentlemen—the Telosians are easily alarmed, and the presence of what appears to be a war fleet will make my task no easier."

"And you'll be disappointed to know," he added, "That task is not the murder of innocent Telosians, or whatever it is you imagine the Empire does. All you'll witness here is the shell of the incompetent and limp-wristed Telosian government being replaced with a new one accountable to its people. You're welcome to... 'observe,' but the business of building a civil service doesn't make for the sort of headlines or footage that you prefer."

"May I be of any assistance to you?" he asked disingenuously.
