They waited. Sitting behind Centax-1, at the very edge of the moon's darkside; they waited. It was a couple of minutes before the simulation was to begin, and the Wolfenstein was yet to arrive. Granted, he had been in position an hour early, he was still hoping that General Daxavier Horrace would arrive early as well so they could set up an appropriate battlespace. Not that the General perhaps needed one set up for him, it was still nice to have both officers on the same page.
He was standing on the catwalk that was above the bridge, observing the holomap of the battlespace. He was curious where Horrace would appear, and if he was planning to merely show up and begin battle exactly at 1300. Just in-case, he had their TIE Fighters ready to begin immediate deployment.
As he observed the holomap, the sensor ship that was to observe the battle was in position, over their battlespace behind the moon, parallel to the north pole of Centax-1. The only difference is that this morning, for matters of easier data collection, the simulation had been transitioned from target-lock based to training lasers. All ships, capital ships and fighters, had set their lasers down to a level which rendered them utter harmless, but would be used by the training programs on all ships.
After some time, he walked down from the catwalk to the main area of the bridge. It was merely a matter of time. A waiting game, one he was good at.
NOTE: The Leveler is equipped with four concussion missile launchers, in addition to the normal armament of the Acclamator I-class Assault Ships, and has the complement of the carrier variant, modified of course, for Imperial use (48 TIE/ln Starfighters and 24 TIE/sa Bombers).
