| Paul smiled, checking over the readings from the hyperdrive as the proximity warning sounded informing him of the arrival of his vessel at Lorrd. He ruffled the top of the R3 unit now accompanying him as it beeped charmlingly `Don`t worry H8, you silly old droid, we`ll just use the oil bath when we get back to clean it out, but in future i promise not to us your top for rolling out pastry!`
"Beep boop bop.. ooooOOooo" resonded cheerfully, perched next to Paul he sat in the cockpit of the Lone Scout-A, the smell of warm bakery products filled the air and some gentle folk music played across the internal sound system. As they were hailed by the Lorrdian authorities he opened the comminicator after broadcasting his credentials "Hello there fellow being! How are you today? While id like to talk I`d like to talk to the supreme executive, govenor or whatever you locals call the head honcho!"
The sensor array of the fighter opened up and began to scan the Kinyov Province, above which it had appeared from hyperspace. H8 informed him that there appeared to be a very heavily fortified fortress complex as Intel had indicated. As per his mission, he was going to go and have a general poke around in the man`s affairs - certainly seemed dubious that a man whos drones only recently were firing on Imperial pilots should own such a defensible position..

| The Lorrdian Defense Forces, in the form of a pair of Gozanti cruisers, were the vessels that hailed Gemmell upon his arrival. Sending him the coordinates to move along the spacelanes, the captain of the closest vessel would query him for his name and purpose. Normally, these would not be the protocols, but the normal arrivals did not request to speak to the heads of the Houses of Lorrd. Nonetheless, a routine notification was sent up the chain of command, informing the higher-ups that some foreign, unknown dignitary might well be visiting in a small vessel rather than utilizing one of the diplomatic ships.

| Paul just smiled into the communicator as he continued to speak over the communicator to the ground control chappie. His credentials, as mentioned, had been broadcast over and so he just spoke as the vessel moved lazily toward the stark estate. "Ooh this must have you chaps all scrambling for the proceedural manuals. Sorry for giving you boys down there a stresful day. When you do get through, let them know that im definately not here to investigate the world or its governmnt generally - but that it should be treated as need to know info that I`m here. What`s your name pal?"
The Lone Scout, marked with the Imperial Cog and a Military transponder cruised lazily into the atmosphere above the Stark Castle, intensively and intrusively scanning it and the surrounds from high orbit before begining to descent. He tapped on the scanner scanning for life forms, happy little life forms, such fun to find.

| "Captain Tammash Lucon, Lieutenant Gemmell. If you'll be so kind as to come about to the proscribed heading, we can assign you a landing pad in Lorrd City. From there, transportation can be provided to whomever you would like to meet with." The cruiser's captain's voice was respectful; he didn't sound to be that old of a man, but he was a captain for a reason: experience.
The Kinyov Province, as Paul would find, was a rather extensive place, and the small green region in which Castle Stark and the surrounding areas and small town were located was rather large unto itself. When Paul did scan Castle Stark, he would find it strangely blanked, as if invisible more or less to sensors, which it was in some regards; this might well interfere with his life-sign scanners, but if for some reason they did manage to pinpoint life-signs, he would come up with roughly one-hundred of such.

| "Sorry Tammash, As I say I'd love to help, but I really dont have the time to hobnob with our dignitaries. I think il stick with my ship for now if it's not too much of a problem. Il just land where I feel I need to, just let the chappies on the estate know, thanks person! " he clicked off the communicator.
H8 beeped and rattled, Paul gave a loving smile to him. "Order the commander of the garrison of the fort to be ready to meet me, hmm, sensors proving ineffective? Take us in close, starting with the "Portal", full power to sensors on all bands please" he flicked open the comm to Captain Tammash again "Tammash you still there old chum? How do your locals feel about such a heavily fortified position being owned by a civilian?"

| Since the Portal section of the areas defenses was not shielded in any way, Paul would be able to gain a count of life-signs and basic layout of the defenses. Of course, he'd be unable to count the armored suits that were powered down or weapons, but that held true for any starship-based sensors more or less. The troops on the ground below would gaze upwards at the noise of the low-flying craft, then dismiss it and return to their duties, more likely than not. Word had already been passed that there would be an Imperial agent checking about.
Tammash was still on station, albeit in orbit and as he considered the question at hand, he paused for a few moments. "Lord Stark has ever been a a bastion of fairness and justice in the Kinyov Province; a local hero of sorts on Lorrd with some of his exploits and always willing to donate to a good cause. He is well loved by the people, and I daresay he is qualified to possess such a site; he is a hero of the Clone Wars, after all. The populace see this area as a safe haven should hostile forces ever come forth to ravage this planet... especially the despicable Argazdans."

| Unbeknownst to Paul, he was being watched, in a manner of speaking. Within the confines of Castle Stark's internal hangar sat a solitary vessel; a Rainhawk-class transport. The vessel's pilot was within the castle itself, utilizing passive scanners to track the craft overhead. It was rather obvious what was being done and the Intelligence agent was not deemed a threat. If anything, the man would serve to help validate Stark's position. There was little suspicious about Stark's little home and there was equally little to cause issue. After all, the construction and setup had all been ratified and approved by Moff Shirnoq, who'd been the final authority in some ways.
For now, Irlilia Dannen sat and waited, curious as to what the agent would do.

| Paul flicked a switch and the rear door opened up as he hovered over the estate. Broadcasting Imperial transponders and using their vocabulators to identify themselves to any Lorrdians they encountered, twenty four Prowler 1000 probe droids exited the Scout ship and began to make Comprehensive scans of the whole area. They also would appear at the door of each fortification, instructing anyone who answered they were scanning on official Imperial business, mounted with sopisticated detector equipment pairing older x rays with modern technology they were able to sniff out even inactive or mechanical systems.
The Lonescout A-2 just gently skimmed around, occasionally focusing its main sensor on various points of interest.mfinally, all 24 droids would arrive to scan the main castle.

| With only twenty-four Prowler probe droids, the task of scanning everything except the castle was likely to take several days. As such, once the time was complete with the Lonescout skimming around and all and the droids had arrived at the castle, they would find the doors open and welcome, allowing them to enter and scan what they would. Naturally, there was nothing to hide; there were likely to be certain things they wouldn't be able to find, being only droids, after all and not having human ingenuity, but the main portions of the castle were more than open to them and they were free to scan about to their hearts content.

| Human ingenuity is bunk. Machines (especially when programmed for a specific role) programmed for a role are no less efficient or effective at it than humans and are largely much faster and more efficient at a given task. Scanning the whole estate, largely moving at 60 miles an hour (no reason futuristic technology can't scan very quickly) as they moved from corridor to corridor and room to room.
If there was a problem and things seemed to be going slowly, an additional six would be dispatched. The head of security at the fort would be requested to give a full Inventory of weapons, defensive systems, concealed compartments etc which would be checked against the records. Most specifically, weapons, drones and pieces of high technology (mechs, ships etc) would be require close examination and would receive it.

| It would indeed require additional drones, considering the size of Stark's portion of the Kinyov Province in which he made his home, which was also home to a small garrison of soldiers who oversaw the Kinyov Province's justice system, etc.
The current guard commander, a Major Johann by name, would be the man who cooperated with Paul upon his request. The current defensive systems (ten air defense towers on the exterior and numerous defensive turrets within, largely non-lethal) would be listed on the inventory. There were no mechs, drones or any other true pieces of 'high technology' located on the premises; Stark did not bring his work home, so to speak, for he did not like to dirty his house in that matter. Outside of the standard weapons of the Castle Stark guardsmen (vibroblades, Verpine shatter guns and standard knives), the only extra weaponry in the castle armory were fifty M5 11mm sabot rifles (essential slugthrowers). His droid staff and the twenty currently deactivated Zephyr droids he'd purchased for defense were the only other occupants besides the few serving personnel and the Castle Stark guards themselves.
When it came to concealed compartments, none were listed by Major Johann, largely because none existed to the common knowledge; not even on the blueprints. The droids' scans were highly, highly unlikely to reveal them either; quite a bit of money had gone into making sure the concealed rooms were just that: concealed. Just as any scanner could be defeated through the correct means without arousing suspicion, so too would the Prowlers be fooled and all would seem exactly as it was.
