| It was not like Queen Deralius III to be late, to anything. Punctuality was something she strived to always practice, and successfully did so most of her life. This would, regrettably be one exception. Thankfully, the host was seeming to be running just as late as she was. A lone Consular-class Space Cruiser, adorned in Deralia's Praetorian Guard markings dropped out of hyperspace over Acherin. They broadcasted their identity and role in carrying the Senator-Queen. Aboard, was the Queen herself, her Senatorial aide, and a complement of Praetorian Guards, who never seemed to leave her side these days. She wasn't sure why, but something had spooked her husband since his accident, and he was now adamant in full protection details for her at all times, even on a world as safe as Acherin.

| The Senator frowned some. "I'm sorry....I don't uhm. It is nice to meet you, Miss Riley. I've been to Naboo, many many years ago when Kal and I were first married. Before Mr. Vanden was Senator. Anyway, it is a pleasure to meet you." She looked between them both again, and then her gaze went searching for the only person in the room that she really recognized. It was certain to get worse from here on out.
"Will you pardon me, please?" She snapped her attention back to Alyn and Ana and offered them a warm smile before she retreated to Kal, only markedly (and not outwardly) upset that he had wandered off.

| Ana was hardly able to get a word in aside from, "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Senator. Senator Vanden speaks very...." Before Ilanah was gone again. She seemed out of sorts almost, and Ana let a brief frown cross her face before she looked up to Alyn next to her.
"Was she quite alright?" She asked him, still confused by the odd exchange. Ana wouldn't let it bother her too much, most Senators weren't the friendly type, except Artemis had spoken highly of Senator Thanatos on occasion. Maybe she was put off because of Ana's job? She didn't know, and her time with Alyn had been teaching her to not care so much what others thought of that.

| As with the rest of the party guests, a pair of Eta-2s would emerge to escort the shuttle and direct them to the designated landing pads. With the Senator Aurelius being marked as arrived, Governor-General Tu'Rot would be pleased with the results. "Finally!" However Xane would chime in, as he usually did. "Can we go up now?" Tu'Rot nodded. "Of course!" With that, he would stand up and remove himself from his throne and walk towards the elevator that would bring him directly to the top floor where everyone was awaiting. However, Draken Tu'Rot would not be wearing a bow-tie, rather he would be dressed in a trench coat with dark pants and an armband that had the Acherin logo on it. Stepping into the elevator, the man would arrive at his own party.

| "I'm not quite sure my dear. Word is that she suffered an accident during the droid uprising. I certainly hope she is well enough. Ilanah Thanatos was always an able senator."
As Tu'Rot arrived at last, Stark offered the man a half-bow. Tu'Rot wasn't a bad sort. Rather loud and vocal, but a patriot as far as Stark could tell who'd been able to get a rebellious world well in hand. "It seems our gracious host has arrived at last," Stark murmured to Ana as the man arrived. "Let us see how interesting this night shall be."

| As she was escorted to the party, with a detail of her Guards remaining with her, she mentally went through recollection of Draken Tu'rot. She didn't recall ever meeting the man personally, only in debate within the Senate. He was certainly a passionate man, and extremely loyal. She knew next to nothing about him, thought. She supposed that this evening would allow her to meet the man, and as he made his entrance, so did she. The party was not as lively as she expected, only a portion of the guests invited seeming to be here. Nonetheless, she surveyed the room before making her way into it.

| As Draken Tu'Rot would make it to the top level, the band would automatically play Acherin's anthem as he entered. Smiling and waving to those that appeared, he'd start to shake everyone's hand, and then kiss the hands of the females in the room. "Welcome!!!!" Expressed the Governor-General as he was served a drink and downed it in one hit. "Thank you all for coming to my appointment party!!!" Smiling and placing the empty glass on the tray as he reached for food. "You all have been invited here because you all represent something to me!" Looking down at his holowatch, he realized that he had a few moments before the Military Parade was about to kick off. "And not only that, but because I enjoy the company of yourselves in the Senate when we have those long out battles in which I have to sleep in my pod because the debate is so intense!!!" The man would laugh. "So, I trust the band correctly played everyone's anthem? And I also trust that the food and drinks are up to standard?" The man would gulp another drink.

| The problem with meeting Draken tu'Rot was figuring out how to address the man. President/Senator/Governor-General? She really wasn't sure. Kal had, as any loving husband would, assured her that she had never met the man before and then meandered off to the bar to get her a glass of wine or something like it, but he ended up staying there and having a drink of his own. He really never was much for parties, but lately, he had felt that leaving the senator, his wife, alone was a bad idea.
"Mr. Tu'Rot." She said kindly when he kissed her hand, figuring it was the safest title to start with until he informed her otherwise. "This is a very nice....party." Ilanah said before she smiled. "Thank you for inviting us."

| Ana accepted his explanation of the Senator's odd behavior in stride, and thought nothing more of it after she watched the woman return to her spouse. "I see. Well, that is a shame, isn't it?" She murmured before she took a small sip of the champagne that he had given her. It really was quite good.
When Alyn spoke to Tu'Rot, she kept quiet, except a small expression of gratitude after Alyn was finished. Otherwise, she didn't have a great deal to say. She was, however, trying her hardest not to feel completely uncomfortable and out of place, and the man she had her arm linked with helped with that problem a lot.

| However, as the party was taking place in the Black Hand Building, on the ground zero level was Colonel Neolight and those that had been selected to partake in the Military Parade in honor of Governor-General Tu'Rots rise to higher Imperial ranks. Out of the men selected, the 1,500 that were vital to the taking of the Golan-I Platform during the battle of Chandaar, in which demonstrated the military might of Acherin, were front row. These men were lined up in their dress uniforms, rifles directed upwards held by the buttstock. These men were in a 6 row formation and with six men, it kicked back quite a bit. Behind them were the members of Acherin's other services to include members of the Security Forces, positioned the same way. And behind them, were the military vehicles of Acherin. Tanks, APCs, Infantry Fighting Vehicles, and the Anti-Air Drones as well. Of course there would be an air display to demonstrate that Acherin is strong in all fronts. And there would be one final surprise to the parade as well, but that was kept secret.
Moving to the head for the formation, Colonel Neolight would tap his comms that would directly link him to Draken Tu'Rot. "Sir, we are ready."

| Getting the information from the Colonel, Governor-General Tu'Rot would get the attention of those at the party. "If I may have your attention, please!!!" The man would proudly say, waving his hands in the air. "At this time, I'd like to direct your attention to the viewing glass for a special treat!" He'd proceed to walk over to the viewing glass that would display a big parade deck below.

| With Ana by his side and an arm lightly around her waist, Stark moved towards the viewing-glass, curious what Tu'Rot had to show them all. Stark knew that Acherin favored military endeavors and therefore, expected something military-related.

| The show went on, as planned:
From the view of the Black Hand Building (With the viewing glass as well as the big screen that would document the military parade for those that are hard of seeing.)
The first stage of the parade would consist of a 9 man group of the band that would goose-step march while playing their instruments. First, the banging of the drums would start, followed by the other sounds of the band would kick in. The officer in charge would march as regular members would: Goose-stepping while completely extending the right hand forward, not bending the elbow. He would swing his right arm from his side to his front and continue to march, leading the band. He'd give the order to stop, and the band stopped, yet continued to play. The officer would do an about-face and order the band to split to the sides. 4 men on one side, and the other 4 on the remaining side of the Parade Field. With the members on each side, the officer would go to the side on where the Black Hand building was. He'd stand at attention and would wait for the remaining parade to march.
The second stage of the parade would consist of the military vehicles of Acherin. The first ones to appear would be the Infantry Fighting Vehicles. They'd drive in a 3 man front, with the other vehicles behind the 3 men leading. The gunners would extend the turrets into the air, and would salute the delegates in the Black Hand Building. The passenger side would also stand and also extend a salute to them and would remain so until they were out of sight. The driver, would keep focused on the road. Once they were gone, the Acherin Speeder bikes would appear in the same formation. They would not salute, and kept their eyes on the road too. Next up were the APCs. From the top hatches, there would be a soldier that would render a salute as well as they drove by. Next up were the tanks. These monsters would roar down the field slowly, and would drive by the building. From the gunner's hatch, the gunner would render a salute as the tanks rolled by. Once they were gone, one more vehicle would appear... Acherin's Anti-Air drones. These drones would silently and swiftly move in formation down the field. However, one would spin it's turret and target the orbit, and it would shoot. But it was not flak that would emerge from the cannons, it was fitted with a special confetti launcher, and would fire confetti into the air. As this happened, the drones would follow suit and do the same thing. Once they were out of ammo, they'd go back to regular position and drift on by.
The third stage were the starfighters of Acherin's Air Corp. The LAAT/i's would fly by first, with the bubble turret gunners saluting as the vessels flew by. Next up would be the various vessels of the Air Corp; Acherin's Landing vessels, Y-wings, ARC-170s, V-wings, Cloakshape Fighters, V-19s, and finally the Blastboats. They would fly in formation past the group and take off back to where they were assigned.
The fourth stage... the final stage, was Colonel Neolight and his 1,500 men that took part in the blockade of Chandaar. At the head of the 1,500 formation was the Colonel in his dress blacks with a sword. As he goose-stepped, his hand was extended downward and the sword pointed forward. Walking by, this was the way to salute individuals by Acherin standards. Then behind him were the men in their dress uniforms as well. They had blaster rifles resting on their left shoulders as they marched the same way the officer in charge of the band did. Their right arms would extend straight and then back down to their side as they goose-stepped. The first ranks nearest the building would look straight, while everyone behind them would turn towards building and march by them. Behind these men were other members of Acherin's military that marched, except they were in battle dress uniform. They marched a bit differently. The men in the front ranks would march like Colonel Neolight's men, however the men behind them would have their rifles extended with the bayonets more then a few inches behind the men in front of them. They'd goose-step by the building in this formation.

| The Senator had taken the offered arm of Draken Tu'Rot after the commotion started immediately following his invitation to watch the parade. Mr. Tu'Rot....this is quite the display of military." She murmured, mentioning the parade. "Very grand. Chandrila....really has nothing like it." Ilanah said. After a few moments, she would toss a glance back at Kal before paying attention again.
"Your new appointment is quite impressive. Though, I wonder what I am to address you as in Senate now. Or in person, really. You have so many titles."
