| I am not a Lorrdian, but I am sure that you are already aware of that.
I only know a little of your history and way of life, but every day I learn more and more from the amazing people that I have come to care for here, and wonderful individuals that I have just met. Until just a few short weeks ago, Naboo was my home. Now, if you will have me, I would like to call Lorrd home.
It hurts my heart, no, it breaks my heart to have heard of the political unrest that has occurred over the last few days. I would hate to see it degrade further into unnecessary violence or uprising. Mr. Harald Lennon has made all very good points, but you are all so highly educated that you know that the government in place has served you all well. Lorrd is by far the safest and most sound place that I have ever been. The economy is stable, the education system is more than exceptional, and I have already bored you with how much I love the people here.
My fiancee does not know that I am writing this letter. He did not ask me to, nor would he ever do such a thing. If nothing else, he would have tried his hardest to protect me from the possible negative reaction that could come from it. I support him one hundred percent.
Alyn Stark is a good man. He is kind, and caring, and he loves his people and would put his own life at risk for their safety and protection. He is a good leader, and I know that you are all aware of that or you would have not elected him as your Senate Representative while Senator Lekpin is recovering. In fact, despite the falsities that some have spread regarding Senator Lekpin's accident and Alyn's role in it, you should know that he risked his own life to try and get to Roman in time.
You know who Alyn Stark is, and you know what he has and will continue to do for the Lorrdians, despite what Mr. Lennon says or accuses him of. None of you know me yet, but I could not love a man who is a tyrant or who is corrupt. I could not give up a life that I loved unless I was more than positive that he was worth it. I know with every fiber of my being that he is the best for me, and will continue to and always will be the best for you.
My heart does go out to Mr. Lennon and his wife Juliet during this trying time. I strongly believe that his arrest was warranted due to the fact that government officials were concerned about possible violence that could occur because of his mere words. Words, not facts. I am sure, if Mr. Lennon were to recant his statements, he would be released post haste.
Some day my children will be Lorrdians, and when that day comes, I sincerely hope that the people have made the right choice and kept their current government in place, for a safe and secure future.
