"Trevor it is then," Maximov said amicably as he led the way into a small, darkened cantina that would keep them from prying eyes. Choosing a mid-rear booth with a good view of the place, Maximov settled in. "So now that you have an arm back, what will you do? I get the feeling you won't turn to merchant work or an 'honest' living as they call such in the galaxy, so what is it to be for Mr. Trevor? Could always go into bounty hunting, you know."

Trevor followed Harold into the Cantina, and liked the spot the man had chosen. The former Inquisitor had always chose dark areas of cantinas, to avoid attention. In this instance, it was needed. He would settle onto a chair, and looked at Harold. It felt strange to be talking about career choices with a stranger. But he was doing it, though he kind of wished Mira was there with him. Trevor quickly shook that off and responded in a calm tone. "Well, I could find a job like ordinary people but it would take a long time to save up credits in order to get what I want." Bounty hunting sounds like a good idea. It was something he could do until he figure a way to reconnect with the Force. "One problem. I don't know how to shoot. I've only used lightsabers and other melee weapons."

'Lightsabers.' The fact that the man was so willing to state that fact made Maximov wonder just how far Trevor was going to get without the Force and for a moment, the normally unflappable assassin felt annoyance. "You're not chasing Jedi across the rooftops of Coruscant any more, Trevor," Maximov hissed in a low voice. He pointed a finger at the cybernetic arm. "You're not an Inquisitor any longer. Forget that you ever used one of those damned weapons. Forget that you even know what they are. You say that word loud enough and you'll bring people down on you in the sheer hope of making credits. Learn to shoot. Any idiot robber can do it and I like to think I didn't save you to be one of those."

"Then I better learn how to shoot." That was all he thought he should say at the moment. Clearly, the bounty hunter was right. However, how would he get to become a bounty hunter without his own weapons and a ship? Perhaps performing menial jobs until he's able to afford weapons and a ship. He doesn't know what he was going to do next, just that he has to move on from being an Inquisitor. Then he thought all of sudden how Harold knew he was chasing a Jedi. Sure, there were news but the Imperials surely wouldn't show pictures of their dark servants. "How did you know I was chasing a Jedi on Imperial Center?"

"I know a lot of things, Trevor." Maximov's voice had cooled down. "I've been places you could not imagine and places you wouldn't want to imagine. Now what are your plans? You need something and someplace to start. So what do you have?" He'd slipped up there for a moment. Trevor might well hold a grudge for the fact that Maximov had shorted him during his hunt for the Jedi on Coruscant.

He could have very well hold the grudge for being stopped from killing the Jedi at the time. Then again, Inquisitorus is not in him anymore. Especially not when he was banished by the Emperor himself. Trevor would consider the path of bounty hunting in order to earn some valuable credits to get to what he really want. He entertained the thought of being a sniper, being able to control one's fate from a distance. "I don't mind taking up bounty hunting, but I'd need some information to get started first." Like the Inquisitorus, information are very valuable in the profession of bounty hunting. He could imagine that. Sometimes he had hired bounty hunters in the past to help with an assignment of his. He had seen how each one had performed differently.

"Well, why did you save me in the first place, anyway?" He was unsure of the answer. At the moment, he was just a man that had used the Force his entire life and had it taken away.

"What information do you need? Find a bounty board, get yourself some weapons and start hunting. I'd suggest small-time work until you make some connections and get a better feel for the field. It's a cut-throat business at times and one can never be too careful. Partnerships often end up bloody if the being you're with isn't savory." Maximov paused as he considered Trevor's second question. "I saved you to keep the balance. That's what I do."

Trevor couldn't say anything about Harold's advice but to softly nod his head. The man was right. He had witnessed how quickly bounty hunters could turn against each other during the Clone Wars and the aftermath. It meant he couldn't trust anybody. This is a perfect opportunity for him to exercise that. He had been through so much betrayal that it would be unquestionable for him not to trust anyone anymore. At least not for a long time. Trevor looked at the bounty hunter with a puzzled look, "Are you saying you're killing and saving both evil and good in order to keep the balance in the Force?"

"The Force," Maximov said in an amused tone. He settled a credit chip on top of the table, blocked from sight by one arm and raised one finger from the other hand. Spinning his finger slightly, Maximov let the Force emerge and spin the credit chip on the table, out of sight of anyone save himself and Trevor. "The Force is a means to an end, Trevor. Light side. Dark side. Sith. Jedi. Dark Jedi. They're all interested in preaching their own aims. Be strong, break your chains. Believe in peace and all will be well. They're so blinded by their beliefs that they don't see what's right in front of them. Balance, true balance has nothing to do with the Force."

"Sounds like you're sick of the feud between the Jedi and the Sith. I can honestly say that I'm sick of them too." He chuckled at the sight of the chip spinning. "I don't think I'll be seeking peace at the moment, but I am looking for redemption." He spoke with a firm tone, indicating that he wanted to make the best of himself...even without the Force. He would have to relearn everything, but he was confident he could pull it off. "What's the next course of action?"

"You're wrong," Maximov corrected Trevor. "It's not that I'm sick of any feud. By and large, I don't care. Whether Jedi or Sith dominate the galaxy, either side will eventually fall and it is a system that has been and always will be. There's always a balance, Trevor. I simply help influence and keep the balance. From the lowest Twi'lek slave to even the highest dark emperor... balance always swing for and against." There was no real point in explaining more. Trevor would have made a good GenoHaradan agent, perhaps, but he was untrained and already indoctrinated in the ways of the Jedi and the Inquisitorious.

"The next course of action? That's all on you, Trevor. I'm simply here to help and guide you along your new path for a time."

"I guess becoming a bounty hunter in order to earn some credits sounds like the best option at the moment." In truth, he needed the credits for something a little more grand. Of course, he was being blinded by his own hatred toward the Empire. The ex-dark Jedi would look at Harold, "I think I'm gonna take your advice and start small." That way, he wouldn't attract both the Empire and the Hutts' attention. Trevor figured he might start on Nar Shaddaa, knowing that many wanted men and women hide out on the Smuggler's Moon. He wondered if the man across the table would allow him to continue borrowing the pistol until he has the credits to buy his own weapons.

The man slowly got up off the chair, "I'm gonna look for a bounty here on Nar Shaddaa. You're welcomed to join. However, you don't have to. You had already done a lot for me. You got me off that damned world. You gave me the money to get a new arm and presented me with options that I might not even considered myself. Just remember this, I owe you a favor. If you need me for something, you can always find me."

"You may need my help a little longer," Maximov said as he appraised Trevor. "You won't make it on Nar Shaddaa just yet with a blaster and whatever credits you have left over from getting a new arm. Hell, there are beings out here who will take the weapon off you and jam it where the sun doesn't shine. And I don't mean the lower levels of the city, either. I'll help you on a couple of jobs. You keep the profits. When you're ready to strike out on your own, that's when I'll leave you. You need to make sure you have a ship as well, and that takes time to buy."

"Agreed." Trevor nodded. "I can't stand not flying." Flying was one of his favorite things, especially in combat. It was fun for him. "Then let's go. I'd like to start on the bounties right away." He would wait for Harold to follow him, and then headed for the exit. "I'm gonna need a fake name first, though." The former Inquisitor would make sure that was nothing more than a brief stop. He didn't like staying in one place too long. Plus, the Empire may be looking for him as well. If not, they would soon.

"That sounds like an apt idea. However... there are a few snags. Firstly, you don't have an Imperial Peacekeeping Certificate, or an IPKC. We will have to get a fake one drawn up for you, as well as a false identification. That comes in proper order, so nobody can question your validity as a bounty hunter... or a new man." Maximov followed Trevor outside. "Then, of course, we can certainly begin bounty hunting."
