| "Well, I may need to have a trim done on my hair, but nothing exceptional. I rather figured you'd enjoy some time with your friends without me constantly pestering you." Stark planted a brief kiss on her brow before looking back into her eyes. "Shopping sounds quite fun. As much bustle is going on with the wedding, I'm sure there will be a lot of new people in town with lots of things to sell. Word travels fast, after all. I'll make sure you're taken care of in that regard, if nothing else.
"Just be safe if you go out to Lorrd City. Things are quieted down about Lennon and all, but this Argazdan business has the option of causing issues, and I'd not like it if someone chose to say unkind words to you over it."

| "Its not pestering if I want you around, Alyn." Ana replied. "I feel bad that we haven't seen each other. I've just been so exhausted that I've been knocked out before you even came to bed." She said. "So I am sorry for that.".
Ana nodded. "I understand you worry. Send a extra guard or two if it will make you feel better. I doubt anyone will even really know who I am, so there should be no reason to be concerned."

| "I may just do that. It's not that I worry about everyone knowing who you are, it's more worrying that specific people may know who you are." Stark chuckled and shook his head. "The small downsides of marrying into power simply means that you get used to an armed retinue at times. As for you being asleep, there's a lot you're going through right now between our son and planning for the wedding and all. It doesn't always leave you with enough energy to talk, but fret not. We have our entire lives together."

| Ana shook her head and pressed a finger to Alyns lips before she glanced over her shoulder. "I haven't told them yet....". She murmured, but it appeared to be too late for that.
"Ana!" Nadia exclaimed, followed by a shriek from Elana and a look of indifference from Ina. "You could have told us!". Ana gave Alyn a look, which meant she may or may not smother him in his sleep later.

| Stark coughed and looked guilty as Ana gave him the look. "Sorry, my love. I assumed you'd told them as much. Shall I strategically retreat now whilst you confer with your friends? Or shall I remain?" He gave her a small smile and shrugged apologetically. He'd believed that close friends knew of the child; his Shadowguard knew, that was for certain and they were more protective of her, if such was possible, because of it.

| "You can only strategically retreat if you take me with you." She said as she grabbed his hand and held tightly onto it. Irlilia had been the only person she told aside from Alyn and Jendos, and she had rather liked to keep it that way until the wedding was safely behind them. Now that Nadia and Elana knew, everyone attending the wedding would likely know by the time it was over too.

| "Perhaps we can swear your friends to secrecy, my dear? And then again, a retreat might only make them wish to ask more questions. Perhaps we ought to field them now and ask them to keep it rather quiet." Stark squeezed her hand with a faint smile and pulled her to him. "After all, this is news that should stay in the direct circle, so to speak. I can't think of anyone outside the Shadowguard and Jendos who know on my end... and now your friends, that is."

| It was too late. "Ana. You're not getting married just because you're pregnant, are you?" Nadia asked. Ana had expected it, but what Ana hadn't expected was elanas response.
"Ana that great, but, you never wanted kids, did you?". Dammit, she thought, and then she glanced to Alyn.
"I didn't think so at first, but things change. And I was like....18 when I said that, really. I'm happy. We're happy. And we're thrilled about having a son.". Ana explained, leaving it at that.

| Stark chuckled and gave an Ana an amused glance as her friends spoke up. "Ladies, ladies, trust in the fact that I wished and planned to marry Ana long before the news of our son ever came along. This was actually quite a recent development and I daresay we'd spoken of marriage even before this news came. It was not until recently that we learned she was pregnant, after all.
"She is quite correct that we are very excited about a son." He looked to her again and gave a sly wink. "Perhaps a daughter too sometime in the future. Things do tend to change after all. I'm sure the three of you may have said you never wished to be married; I certainly had never intended to until I met Ana, which changed a lot of my views on things."

| "And really, he was hooked after about ten minutes. It was my driving, wasn't it darling?" She smirked some and then smiled to the girls. "I'm positive. This is what I want. We can do anything from here." She said as she slid her arm around Alyns.
"But the thing is....we don't really want to announce it until after the wedding and we get back from our honeymoon. So....discretion would be fantastic." Ana also asked. The girls seemed to agree, thankfully, for the moment.

| Catching the relief Ana nearly seemed to radiate, he slid his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. "She's quite correct. We didn't want people to think we were only getting married because of her pregnancy, and the masses seem to take an idea and run with it. Her driving though... was to die for, one might say." This last was followed by another sly wink to Ana.
"By the way, ladies, thank you again for coming. If nothing else, I trust you will find interesting wedding gossip among the staff about the castle. I'm taking the liberty of having a meal prepared tomorrow night as an official welcoming for you all. A smaller affair, so I hope you won't mind, but it will likely be just us there and perhaps a friend of mine, along with a few of my confidantes."

| Ana blinked some, having known nothing about this. "Jendos?" She asked him as she finally relaxed comfortably at his side. "That sounds nice, Alyn. I think we should be back mid-afternoon at the latest." Ana said before she smiled.
By that point, Ina had decided she had enough and was going to bed, but not before the quiet girl gave Alyn a small, paper wrapped parcel about the size of a book. "I painted it when we were still in school and thought you might like it. It's not much. But I hope you enjoy it." The girl said before she gathered her glass and the books she had and departed. The other two girls, who were much like Irlilia in the fact that they loved shopping and clothes, etc, had settled back down to pick out shoes and accessories.
"I'm sorry, Alyn. " Ana finally said with a sigh. "I warned you though....we were all close years ago...so it's been a while.". It did feel good to have friends around though.

| "It was sort of a last-minute dinner, love. I figured it would do us all good to get to know each other, and it would help Jendos to get out of the house some." Stark accepted the small gift with a gracious bow. "Thank you kindly for this present. I shall certainly treasure it." When she had departed, he would, of course, open it in curiosity. "It is no trouble, my love; hardly anything worth a warning, and it is good, as I've said, that you have your close friends here with you. I'm happy to see you so happy."

| "Elena is going to pounce." she warned, in regards to Jendos. It made her smirk some and she looked down at what Ina had given him. Ana frowned a moment as she tilted her head to get a good look. "Oh.....I had forgotten I even posed as a life model for her for a project she needed to do." she said, explaining. Ana was at least four, may e five years younger in the painting with long, waist length hair.
"I was actually goIng to ask her if she would paint a wedding portrait for us. Something.....not a holo image."

| "She's quite good," Stark stated as he admired the picture. "You make quite a good model as well. I prefer paintings, odd as it might be. Holo-images are simply too impersonal for my tastes and I tend to favor some aspects of archaism." He paused and thought of Jendos with a sigh. "He won't know what hit him, I have the feeling. I'll warn him not to drink too much or he might end up married too." Stark laughed again and returned to the painting. "You look quite beautiful here."
