| {With the injuries sustained during the Little House on Corellia thread it gave me an opening to bring it what Kulan had been like when I first came up with him. This story will cover that basis as he is transformed from Kulan to how I had originally written and intended him to be, the Kulan whom I remember. This story will also be incorporating bits of the original profile of Kulan with a more recent profile.}
The Aftermath
Kulan was barely hanging on by a thread, his life slowly coming to an end from the wound he was given by the Inquisitor Rath Deschain. The deep cut to his shoulder that tapered into a shallower and yet still just as deadly cut along his body from his chest to his abs. Kulan lay on a table in the back of the shuttle, the medical droid attending to him and attempting to save him as he held on through the Dark Side of the force. He wasn't about to let himself die, though that's when the shuttle quickly jerked, the pilots attempting to regain control as it began to shutter violently. It was clear that it had somehow been damaged as its engines began to sputter before it lost power, the shuttle heading towards the ground as the pilots and crew attempted to pull it back up before it slammed into the ground, tearing out a large chunk below it as it tore across the field, the wings sheering off and tearing across the land as they flipped end over end, the cockpit tearing apart and killing the crew as they slammed into a large hill, sending the metal of the cockpit to crumple down around them.
The back hadn't fared much better as it slammed into the hill, Kulan was thrown from the table and into the side of the shuttle, tearing his wound open further and collapsing his rib cage before he slammed into a chair, only to have a heavy piece of metal crush his leg, while a supply crate came down and pinned his arm, smashing and breaking it as he was left pinned in the wreak. The two Shadow Guards wouldn't fare much better, the one whom had been wounded was thrown against the airlock before it opened, tearing him from the shuttle and throwing him into the ground just as one of the engines tore free and came to rest on top of him. The second Shadow Guard was thrown against the wall, breaking his spine before he was throw into a twisted piece of metal that impaled him upon it.
All around the outside the fires burned along the wreck, leaving the once notable shuttle as nothing more than a pile of twisted metal. Kulan laying with in it continued to use the Dark Side of the force, he had a score to settle and he wasn't going to let himself die in some wreck. The shuttle creaked as metal shifted against metal, smoke filling the compartment and scaring his lungs as the fire tore through the inside, burning him, though not killing him as he held on with every last fiber of his being. Somehow he would manage to survive, somehow he held on. His body and the wreakage would be found a few days later. He was found badly burned, his eyes began to flash as he went in and out of consciousness, slowly dying and feeling the life being drained from him. He wasn't going to die this way, who ever had found him had a plan for him. His body was placed in a bacta tank and the experiments began. Kulan was still holding on though, the Dark Side of the Force flowing through him as he was slowly changed from a human into something more of a monster then of a man. He didnt know who it was that found him, whom it was that began to turn him into something else, though he would take hold of it and make it into his own.
His body though had been badly scared from the fire, his bones shattered and broken, his organs nearing failure as he continued to drift in and out of consciousness in the bacta tank, his body broken. The only thing keeping him together was the Dark Side and the bacta tank, though soon enough he would be pulled from it. For a brief moment Kulan had a sense of clarity, seeing the room around him, the stark white walls, the dim lightning of an operation room before he was laid on the cold metal table. He brought his hand up slowly before it dropped back down as he felt the mask placed over his mouth, the gas slowly putting him to sleep as he passed out from a mixture of the gas and pain. An oxygen mask was put over him as the surgery began. Half of his body was broken, his arm had been crushed, his leg broken and half of his ribcage caved in on itself, puncturing a lung and leaving many to amaze that he was still alive even after all he had just gone through. The surgery took hours as they removed the dead and dying tissue, pulling the damaged organs from their place before they were replaced by synthetic ones. His left lung and ribcage where removed, replaced with machines just as the flesh that had once been there was replaced as well. His shoulder and left arm were taken, too badly damaged from the crash and lightsaber wound to ever heal properly. Those were the next areas that became machine on him, leaving him without any feeling of sense on the left side of his body as his leg was the last piece to go, replaced with metal before he was returned to the bacta tank. He would never be able to return to the Emperor's Shadow Guard now, not in the condition he was in.
How long had it been now since he had been in the tank? Kulan had lost all knowledge of time, not knowing how long it had been since he failed. His body repaired, though still damaged, scared from the fires and left a horrid visage of his former self. Though the weeks though one of his eyes had degraded, damaged during the crash and not found out until more recently when it began to cloud over, resulting in another surgery. More pain to his body, more pain that he continued to dwell on, using it to keep his body together as the cybernetics took over for those bits and limbs lost, the eye being the latest in a long time. Whom ever was doing this though wanted him alive and kicking, to be well enough to be a weapon, at least for that much he was certain. He didnt remember much after that as he slipped back into a deep sleep brought on by a combination of pain and medicines, Kulan couldnt remember who he was, or what he had been. The lights, though dim began to sway back and forth slowly as he was coming down, a heavy gasping breath kicked on the breathing regulator of his suit, his lungs so scared and the implanted lung unable to fully keep up coupled with the overall damage to his body saw him forced into a bio suit. He was no longer the being he had once been, and now he knew that he would never be returned to the Emperor's Shadow Guard, no now he had no choice, and of the only ones left he wasnt going to let it be death. His body burned and torn, his lungs nearly nothing more than scar tissue. The body suit allowed him to live. The experiments done to him had taken their toll and added to his injuries. Now Kulan was nothing more than a monster, a being of death. Soon enough he picked up the nearest object he could find, a scaplel, and tore through the scientist with precision. The blade cutting through each of the scientist skin as he used them as toys, taking out each of them until he came to the last that tried to put up a fight only to lose his eyes and ears, being left to bleed to death as Blair pushed open the large doors to the lab. As he stepped out into the sun he shielded his eyes for a moment as he looked up, the heat more than what Corellia was known for. It took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the sun before he realized that he had been moved to Tatooine.
All time had been lost to him, any knowledge that he had ended after the crash, the memories of it spotty now, coming in and out as he stumbled across the street, the heavy bio suit was still new to him and he would need time to get use to it, though he had a feeling he wouldnt have that much time as he pushed himself up and headed towards the nearest star port, leaving behind the lab now filled with the bodies of dead scientist and coated in their blood. Kulan was no longer whom he had been, no longer an Emperor's Shadow Guard, he was something else now, something that was stepped in the Dark Side, filled with anger, pain and hate.

| I can wait for that, if you prefer. Either way it goes, I'm sure Kulan wants revenge for what Deschain did to him. Right?))
