With any Monorian personnel having been safely escorted to their own craft for departure to Monor II, the Cardan IV station would be moved, albeit slowly, by tugs until it was indeed just past the edges of the Monor System. There, it would be brought to rest along with two vessels, the Tornado, an EF76 frigate and a Tartan cruiser, Destiny.

The station itself was checked quite thoroughly for sabotage to any internal systems, possible improvised explosives and computer slicing. This, of course, was procedure seeing as how some of the Monorian workers may well have been unhappy about the changes and breaking of the Monor Accords. Alas, it was part of the job. Thus, the issues set forth by the High Exquisitor were rectified within the time limits.

(( With Carl gone and the Iope trip canceled, this is taking the place of it. ))

The Viridian Sky was due to arrive in short order, but at present was in hyperspace to the Monor System.

The scientists on board the Cardan IV were already back to work, finding a new method and style to develop synthesized cirrifog. With the last lot type's patent no longer belonging to Druckenwell, a new method would have to be devised. They'd been told they would be receiving help, nonetheless, and that the help would be arriving in a specific type of yacht. So for now, they labored diligently to find a method.

The Viridian Sky emerged from hyperspace some five hundred kilometers distant from Monor II. This course had been plotted assuming the station was still there. Of course, with the station moved, the yacht was forced to turn about on a new heading, sliding easily through space on a course that would take it to the Cardan.

The C-3 liner was picked up on the long-range sensors and the operators in the command area sent out a message to the ship. "Viridian Sky, come about to course heading three-one-one. That will take you outbound from the Monor System and on a direct route to us. See you soon."

Since it had not been interfered with, the Viridian Sky opened its engines to full. Even at sublights, it would take a while, so the crew plotted an in-system jump to edge where the station now resided and within a few minutes, would make the brief jump, taking it to within easy sight range of the station.

"Druckenwell facility, we are requesting clearance to dock," the pilot stated.

"Viridian Sky, you are cleared to dock." The crisp voice of one of the security personnel operating the control room. "Once the docking port is established, the escort will meet you to bring you up to the control. The chief engineer and scientist will be here to speak with you."

Notably, they would also detect several inbound blips at the hyperspace jump point, inbound for the Monorian System on a course for Monor II. The forces of the Alsakan Journalistic Corps and Alsakan Free Press were ever at their task and always avid to reach the sites of news stories first. A pair of Star Explorer-class demilitarized vessels emerged from hyperspace first, followed by a Consular-class Cruiser, again in a non-aggressive pre-Clone Wars configuration, it was strictly a journalistic vessel, and one which could further provide an excellent communications suite to guarantee any messages dispatched would arrive at their recipient location promptly.

They also had onboard a full Diplomatic Salon Pod, and several members of the Alsakan Diplomatic Corps' "Conflict Arbitration and Resolution" division. Chartered locally, the convoy was also escorted by a pair of BFF-1 Bulk Freighters, carrying the promised educational supplies for the Sunesi people. Flanking this formation, and providing a not inconsiderable level of military metal to the formation, were two pairs of Skipray Blastboats, newly refitted and dispatched as an appropriate escort force for the men and women of the Diplomatic Corps, Journalistic Corps and Free Press Journalists.

If the Druckenwellians made long range scans, they would find several mass shadows indicating medium-level military assets being deployed in the area. Naturally, these undeclared vessels were merely doing their duty patrolling the Corellian Run and took great care to avoid a direct encounter with Druckenwellian forces or civilians, rather just cruising the area with seemingly random hyperspace jumps. Their transponders were set to broadcast only standard Imperial Planetary Codes while taking care not to specifically identify the vessels or their origin.

The Viridian Sky did indeed pick up the inbound ships, which were noted and then relayed back to the station control, who had already undoubtedly noted the same thing. For now, waiting for the process of the docking to be complete, Stark was standing by. His plan, of course, was to help the Druckenwellians be able to better synthesize cirrifog.

There was no apparent need to contact the Alsakan ships; notification had been given that they would be passing through to Monor II and that they'd have unspecified long-range fighter escort. Therefore, when the long-range hyperspace jumps came into action, Druckenwell sensor operators simply monitored, but did nothing. After all, no hostile action was occurring.

The C-3 yacht docked without incident, allowing Stark to depart the ship and board the station. Inside, the Cardan-IV struck Stark as a picture of efficiency and work as technicians of Druckenwell moved to and fro; not hurried but to Stark's eyes, moving with purpose. Ahead lay his apparent, a three-man security detail. Moving up to the men, Stark smiled in greeting at them. "Gentlemen, thank you for having me aboard. These brief turbulent times you seem to be having will pass, I'm sure. So what can I do for you gentlemen? I was told I'd be meeting with the head researcher, a Clive Timmons, by name, I believe?"

A small, balding man who was more than a tad portly bustled up to the security detail that stood before Stark, even as the man finished speaking. Panting slightly and pausing to push his over-sized glasses up somewhat, the man reached out to take Stark's hand and pump it emphatically. "Clive Timmons at your service, Mr. Stark. It's a pleasure to have you here. Senator Ryuun told us you'd be coming along to help us out. Dave," Timmons said as he looked at the security detail's leader, "You're good. I'll show Mr. Stark around." With a nod, Dave signaled to his men and they continued off along another corridor.

"if you come with me, Mr. Stark, I'll take you to the control center where we run the synthesizing operations. You know, it's a good thing you came. Those Sunesi cut us off from the primary mining effort, and then taking our patent? Well, who can blame them? Aliens, after all. Can't trust the super-religious ones anyway. But yes, the synthesis project. We've managed to recreate the type of cirrifog that was originally produced, then altered the output and method of production. Unlike the old lot, our new samples proved to be ninety-eight percent pure; an improvement from the old lot at ninety-four percent. The issue," and here, Timmons' smile soured, "Is that our costs to produce in terms of fuel consumption and input of resources are vastly more than the credits we'd get out in return, even for a superior product."

"Alyn, please. Call me Alyn." Stark kept pace beside the energetic shorter man, listening to his problems. "I wouldn't worry too much about the Sunesi," Stark said at last. "Granted, your business with them is probably over, especially now that the Alsakans have stepped in. It's time to forge ahead, and I believe I may have something that could help you, Clive. You don't mind if I call you Clive, do you?

"As it stands, Clive, Lorrd Engineering and Vigilance Technologies were working on a new experimental powerplant for some of our ship designs. Unfortunately in its current stage, it would be too expensive to mass produce. In this particular instance though, it might have some applications."

"Very well, Alyn, and by all means, call me Clive. No reason we can't be on a first name basis. So this powerplant... it would be a major boon to us, depending on the fuel source. If you could give me more information..." Clive paused expectantly and looked at Stark. Along their walk, they'd come to a turbolift tube, which would bring them to the command center of the station. Stepping in, presumably with Stark, both men would shot upwards as they traveled along.
