Tralfin resolved itself before Yhemn's cockpit as he emerged from hyperspace. Behind him, the Chigliak emerged from hyperspace as well, several minutes later. More than likely, both ships would be queried as to their purpose and two different answers would be given. Yhemn's answer marked him as an independent prospector who'd come to Tralfin for rest and relaxation. The Chigliak and its crew stated they were a freight-hauling team that was there for the same purposes.

Overall, if all clearance was granted, which there was no reason not to grant, after all, both ships would be directed to their landing areas, clearing customs with no issues.

Yhemn and his team had been on Tralfin three days. It was a world rich in a multitude of ways, from shopping areas to the credits itself that flowed; all one could expect from a world owned by businessmen who wanted a getaway place to be able to relax. Security and law enforcement were tight. With crime not being a great issue, largely from a lack of tolerance for it, Yhemn had to move a bit slower than normal. Nonetheless, he'd identified two banks, six casinos and a number of hotels that would serve as targets. It helped as well that the area he was in was near one of Tralfin's oceans, making the docks nearby where a number of high-class yachts sat a juicy target for simple destruction.

Not wanting to compromise the integrity of the mission, Yhemn and his cohorts had also mapped out the local police, fire and emergency response areas. If they were going to need a distraction, it would serve to disable one such area. Causing a mass panic would be useful as well to slow down any resistance to their plans. To that end, Hinot had rented a good-sized repulsor van that would serve to transport people around and was presently in the process of modifying it for remote driving. Once all was set and done, it would be packed with homemade explosives and driven straight into the nearest law-enforcement station to start their distraction.

Before that could be done though, Yhemn needed to have his people in place. He certainly didn't have the numbers to hit every target he wanted, but he'd made a breakdown of the system. Shortly after the car bomb was blown, the aerial cover allotted to their raid by Blackfire would strafe the docks, sewing chaos and more than a bit of mayhem, before attacking indiscriminate targets for a five-minute window. While this would be keeping things busy on the outside, the plan for Yhemn was to split his forces up and hit one of the banks to take as many credits as possible while also hitting one of the casinos for hostages and their cash.

Of course, the plan had a number of variables that might go wrong, but as the time came closer, Yhemn intended to fill those holes.

It was two weeks into their allotted month stay of 'leave.' The plan had been drawn up to account for as many variables as possible and to overcome as many of the obstacles as could be overcome. The Blackfire vessels slated for the raid, a quartet of SS-54 light freighters and a squadron of Ixiyen fast attack craft as 'escorts,' would be arriving in a matter of hours with a 'cargo shipment' bound for Tralfin of liquor for one of their varied casinos.

Hinot had completed the explosive vehicle and it was safely stashed for the time being, and the ground forces had been divided to hit both the closest bank and the closest casino.

Blackfire Aerial Team - Tralfin - Low Orbit - 2200 Hours

Thirty-two glanced over at the pilot of the lead SS-54 assault ship as the man completed the transmission of the cargo manifest that had allowed them entry into Tralfin's sphere of space. Not for the first time, the Blackfire agent wished he could personally thank whomever had misclassified the SS-54 as a light freighter; such listing still appeared on multiple records, and while the SS-54 was indeed an assault craft, it was still utilized as a well-armed freighter.

At the moment, the convoy of six ships was listed under Pearlman's Exotic Liqueurs, a fictitious company of course, but with a legalized name registered on Chandrila some months previous. Being small, it had passed local scrutiny and until now, there had been no need to utilize the single-use cover. Tralfin Control had been curious about the squadron of escorts, but the pilot had simply transmitted back, "Pirates. They're getting vicious these days and even a self-armed convoy isn't necessarily safe." This excuse had been acceptable and the freighters and escorts had been cleared to land at Ando City's primary spaceport to disembark their cargo.

The waterfront city's targets had already been transmitted to Thirty-two some days prior, and while his presence on the operation had not been necessary, Thirty-two had chosen to personally oversee the air support. After all, the use of such a high number of Blackfire's vessels, including the new squadron, was not something to be missed, and with Twenty-nine en route to Naboo to prepare Yhemn's next mission, Thirty-two had jumped at the chance to watch over this one.

As the six assault vessels and their escorts descended through the planetary atmosphere on their designated path, Thirty-two leaned back and kicked his battered boots up on the arm of the chair. This was going to be no small amount of fun.

Hinot's Demolition Team - Tralfin - Ando City - District 3 - 2203 Hours

Hinot fiddled for the last time with the control wires that would serve to make the repulsor van from a drivable vehicle into a remote control vehicle. On the seat to his left sat the crash dummy, dressed in relative finery, to serve as a 'driver' should anyone make a cursory glance at the vehicle's enclosed driver's compartment. With a satisfied grunt that he'd done his best, the electronics and slicing expert wiggled back out of the van and closed the door with a thud. In the rear compartment, the concoction of explosives cooked up by Grekkik, the Argazdan, sat invisible to the outside eye from the lack of windows in the rear.

Tonight was the allotted night, and Hinot, Grekkik and the half dozen others with Hinot's group were solely responsible for blowing up the District 3 local police station headquarters. The police HQ itself was a rather beautiful building; all glass and decoration in the front to present a more friendly appearance to the people who came on world; a far cry from Imperial patrol stations that were all doom and gloom, at least in Hinot's opinion.

In this case though, the construction would be their downfall, at least if he'd planned right. His intent was to drive the van straight in at top speed through their quadruple glass doors, across their extravagant lobby and reception area and detonate it directly in the center. With any luck and planning, and Hinot certainly had his planning in, the resulting detonation would more than decimate the four-story building when the nearly five-thousand pounds of explosive went off.

"Ten minutes and we move out," Hinot said to Grekkik as the Argazdan approached him. Without a word, Grekkik handed Hinot the control mechanism for the rather elaborate setup in the bomb vehicle and then moved to take his place in the unarmed A-A5 speeder truck that would suffice as their getaway vehicle and pace car. It would have been foolish to assemble the weapon delivery system too close to the police station, after all, and Hinot was not averse to driving the vehicle through the traffic. A final check of the systems before he departed for his own spot on the truck ensured that all lights were working, signals and flashers and even the horn if need be. Hinot was far too methodical to allow something as simple as a failed turn signal to allow the vehicle to be pulled over by an unsuspecting police officer. Once the final check was complete, Hinot warmed up his controller, took his place in the A-A5 and drove the bomb vehicle out ahead of the speeder truck.

Yeekry's Assault Team - Tralfin - Ando City - 2203 Hours

The brutish Trandoshan sat in the back of one of a pair of A-A5 speeder trucks that were to be used for this operation. Composed of a mix of former Cantelagno soldiers and some of Yhemn's men who'd been with Yhemn since the man formed his original team, the forty men occupied a pair of speeder trucks en route to a pair of different locations. The snatch-and-grab operation, with an Antared III native named Jermon leading the group, was bound for the Sparkling Fountains Casino for cash and hostages. For Yeekry and the nineteen men with him, the local branch of the Ando City Bank was their destination. With his Stouker Concussion Rifle between his claws, Yeekry was confident that cracking the bank vault would be a simple matter of time. If that didn't work, the shaped charges carried by three of his team would be able to penetrate the secure vault.

With the time counting down to mission start at 2230 local time, when the police changed shifts, Yeekry put his trust in Malos Yhemn and the man's seemingly insane plan that was still coming together.

Blackfire Aerial Team - Tralfin - Ando City - 2225-2230 Hours

Despite sharing the air with a number of other freighter craft heading to their own assigned destinations, the skies were clear over the target area, save for perhaps a half-dozen Talon I cloud cars that seemed to be in a patrol route over the more distant reaches of Ando City. The waterfront itself was pleasantly clear of aerial interference, minus a solitary T-16 Skyhopper that was in a very long and lazy circular pattern over the ocean. "Kids," the pilot said as he tagged it on his sensors. "Probably kids or some young group out having fun. I trained on those when I was younger. If it gets close enough, we'll be sure to drop it."

Thirty-two repressed a shudder at the pilot's casual talk of taking life. Ironic as it might seem, Thirty-two was a big-time hunter, but taking Human life so callously never sat well with him. He'd come to Blackfire for their respect as a tracker and for his valued ability to out-think most forms of prey. Nonetheless, he'd never been big on the kill of extremely sentient beings. "Time is coming up. We should be in position to break flight path in... two minutes." Thirty-two took his eyes away from the chrono and looked back up through the forward viewports. "Tell the escorts to break from their position on my mark. We'll get this gun run in, make a break and cause some havoc and then get the hell out. No more than five minutes."

Watching the timer run down, Thirty-two waited tensely in the cockpit. "Break in five... four... three... two... one... mark."

Hinot's Demolition Team - Tralfin - Ando City - District 3 - 2225-2230 Hours

Hinot and his band had navigated successfully through Ando City's District 3's crowded streets. Tonight was a night of revelry on Ando City, as was every night it seemed, and their A-A5 speeder truck was parked into a small alcove three blocks down from the local precinct's headquarters building. The shift change was set to begin exactly at 2230 hours, which meant that perhaps twenty to twenty-five minutes prior, at least from what Hinot had observed through careful stakeouts, the new shift would already be inside, likely changing in the locker rooms or conducting a last minute shave, assembling gear or being handed assignments for the night.

Seated where he was, with the bulky remote control in his lap that was tied to both the camera for driving purposes and steering with the slightly awkward controls, Hinot 's demolitions van was now one block away and had just pulled back into traffic after having been parked for a brief moment while Hinot got accustomed to his new bearings. With the vehicle back in traffic and the improvised camera system showing him where to go, Hinot had lagged his vehicle back, enough to make some very annoyed party-goers begin honking their limousine's horn at his van (which of course, didn't care), but Hinot was where he wanted.

"Get ready gentlemen," he said quietly. Pushing the throttle fully forward, he was unable to see clearly as the laden van clumsily accelerated, then veered right, narrowly missing a parked repulsorcab before hurtling straight at the front doors of the station that were well-lit and friendly. With a great crash, the van tore through the glass doors and light structure, smashing through the receptionist's area (and flattening the receptionist) before lodging into a sturdy wall. The acceleration hadn't been that amazing after all.

With the camera flickering from the hit and now askew, Hinot could see through the dust and debris a number of police personnel coming up, some with blasters drawn, many with confused looks on their faces. Although they could not see or hear him, Hinot gave a brief apologetic shrug. "Sorry mates. Just wasn't your day." His finger depressed the firing stud and the camera's view vanished.

Yeekry and Jermon's Assault Teams - Tralfin - Ando City - 2225-2230 Hours

Jermon was a big man, and he held his FC-1 flechette launcher with the ease that most men held blaster rifles. Among the twenty men on his snatch-and-grab team, he and three others held the deadly FC-1 launchers, four more hefted the bulky PLX-1 missile launchers and the remaining twelve held GLX Firelance blaster rifles. They'd pulled up in front of the Sparkling Fountains Casino some minutes earlier, waiting in line with their A-A5 truck to come about the half-circle that led to where the valets would accept their vehicles. Already, the passenger had an eye on the quartet of doormen that likely doubled as security officers for the casino.

As their turn came, the driver put the truck in park and hopped out of the vehicle, keeping the Firelance concealed by the side of the seat. When the valet, a young man by the name of Kevin Timmons, came around to take the vehicle's keys and inquire as to where the driver would like it parked, the driver rather unceremoniously brought the rifle up between the man's legs. As the valet crumpled in pain, the driver casually reversed the weapon and stunned the man.

As the sound of the first shot drew puzzled looks, the passenger hopped out, hefting one of the bulky PLX-1 launchers and, raising it to his shoulder, unleashed a warhead that screamed across the open space and impacted the doors to the casino, cutting down the four doormen and a number of unfortunate bystanders. The rear doors of the van opened, disgorging the assault wave of eighteen heavily-armed men who charged over the smoke and debris into the casino, firing as they moved and not caring who was cut down.

Across town, Yeekry's team, pulled up before the bank, were disgorging their own troopers. Fortunately due to the hour, there were few people outside and the first warning the bank personnel had was when a heavily muscled Trandoshan stepped through their doors and fired a concussion rifle blast across the hall, bowling people over and knocking others unconscious. "Quickly!" Yeekry barked, "Get that vault open! We're on a time limit here!"

Yhemn's Command Team - Tralfin - Ando City Spaceport - 2230 Hours

On board the Winter Dream, Yhemn was quietly monitoring the channels that erupted in panic from the waterfront, the police (briefly and then went dark) and a number of assorted other places. The plan to overwhelm the security systems had worked, and Yhemn was in his brief window. Giving a signal across the open landing area to the man aboard the Chigliak, Yhemn engaged his own repulsors, then blasted skywards to be able to provide roaming support and pickup when the time came.

Blackfire Aerial Team - Tralfin - Ando City - 2240 Hours

The SS-54 rocked from the impact of a double blaster cannon's bolts against the rear shields as the Talon I shot past the assault ship, with an Ixiyen in hot pursuit. "We should have strafed their damned airfield," Thirty-two grumbled as the craft pulled out of its final attack run. One of the last three craft to depart for the upper atmosphere and the safety of hyperspace and beyond, Thirty-two was afforded a brief glimpse of the destruction below. Ando City's waterfront was ablaze and smoke clouded much of the air above where the wealthy's watercraft had resided. While the Blackfire agent would have liked to say that the mission was a complete success on his end, he had some doubts.

The initial three strafing runs had been beautiful, and Thirty-two wouldn't be surprised if millions of credits worth of damage hadn't been racked up in a few short minutes as ship after ship was sunk or set ablaze. Then they'd been set upon by a squadron and a half of Talon I cloud cars. For being a private resort world, Thirty-two had to give the pilots credit. Despite being outgunned, their sudden attack en mass had managed to damage two of the SS-54 assault ships to the point where they'd needed to break off and flee. Of course, there was only so much cloud cars could do, what with their lack of shielding. The ruins of eight felled opponents littered Ando City's waterfront, with several impacting into buildings below and causing their own small fires.

Ahead of them, the Ixiyen managed to down its opponent and began breaking for the upper atmosphere. "We're done here," Thirty-two said to the pilot. "Let's get out of here before we draw more issues." The pilot gave a brief nod and the craft began to climb. As they achieved upper orbit and prepared to jump to hyperspace, Thirty-two could only reflect that it had been well-planned in the end.

Hinot's Demolition Team - Tralfin - Ando City - District 3 - 2240-2250 Hours

As Hinot sat in the Chigliak's hold, in the relative quiet, he couldn't help but reflect in his own small part in the raid. The glow of the explosion was far from a memory, but where they'd sat, sheltered between two buildings, the only downside of the attack had been to rock the A-A5. Buildings all about them had suffered shattered windows and damage from flying debris. The police station... Hinot thought he'd built it far too well. The entire structure had collapsed the last he'd seen of it in the fading glow of the rear-view mirrors. If there had been any survivors, he hadn't seen any.

Through the panic in the streets, the progress had been a bit slower than they'd wanted to return to the freighter; the truck they'd ditched several blocks prior to their exfiltration site, rigging it with a timed explosive that would demolish the vehicle in another fifteen minutes. Feeling the deck move beneath him again, Hinot figured they were coming in for a brief landing. It would be time to see the pickup crews. With a grunt, Hinot gained his feet. If they were lucky, the other part, the main reason they'd come, would have gone off without a hitch.

Yeekry and Jermon's Assault Teams - Tralfin - Ando City - 2240-2250 Hours

Jermon tried to stem the flow of blood from the shrapnel wound on his thigh. Yeekry had slapped a pressure dressing over the blaster wound in the Human's shoulder. Both teams were hunkered down behind their explosive-rigged A-A5 trucks. Despite the partial success of their combined work, it hadn't gone off without a hitch, and Jermon had lost four of the men he'd brought in. That was unfortunate, as they were Cantelagno men and men he'd worked with, but aside from a number of injuries, for the casino guards had been more numerous than Jermon had imagined, they'd managed to come out with five hostages and perhaps ten or twenty thousand credits, a success by their standards. Yeekry had come out a bit more ahead of them; three losses, also of former Cantelagno men, but he'd walked away with almost a million credits from the bank vault, as well as five of his own hostages.

The hostages, still stunned and bound, waited with the remaining thirty-three team members in a city park. Ahead of them, the Chigliak touched down lightly, crushing a few benches and an unfortunate nest of rabbits. "Come on! Move!" Yeekry's roar cut through the sound of the repulsors as the entire mass of fighters swarmed the open bay doors of the transport.

Yhemn's Command Team - Tralfin - High Orbit - 2300 Hours

With the Chigliak off his port side, Yhemn couldn't but smile inside his helmet. The mission had been all but an unparallelled success. He had the feeling that things wouldn't be such easy pickings in the Outer Rim after this. Perhaps the mission to Naboo would serve to give him some pleasant time off, more or less, from the storm that would be coming. As the ships slipped into hyperspace, Yhemn set the autopilot and closed his eyes. Successful mission indeed.
