Construction to begin on Memorial Hospitals

After a horrible incident new light and life has come from the darkness. Earlier this month it was reported that twenty Dominion Federation Law Enforcement personnel were injured during a riot which had been brought on by the banning of products from companies owned by Mr. Stark. These riots which had formed as a response to the public finding out the products purchased where dangerous, would see just how dangers the products were when there was a catastrophic failure in the equipment being used. In the aftermath it was reported that twenty were injured, and sadly three of the officers had lost their lives. The people were further spurned though when Mr. Stark openly insulted the law enforcement officers, which brought about its own outcry from the families.

Today however brings a brighter bit of news, as the ground breaking ceremonies on planets across the Dominion in the Cilare System, Trassitan System and here in the Capital of the Revyia System, announced the beginning of the construction of three memorial hospitals to be named in honor of the officers who lost their lives. While the construction will see a slight raise in the peoples taxes, many that we ran across on the street have shown their support to paying the extra taxes to the construction of these three new live saving facilities. Construction is estimated to be finished early next year.

Auril Sector Irregulars stand against the Lorrdian driven Genocide

In a stunning and horrible turn of events, it was revealed that the action recently taken by the Auril Sector Irregulars was in fact taken in direct response to the genocide being carried out on the planet of Lorrd against it's own people. Reports have been pouring in which show that the Auril forces struck Lorrd and in the process have managed to strike a heavy blow against their new found foe. Though this blow came at a cost to the Auril Sector Irregulars who also, from our understanding, loss a number of personnel. At this moment a direct count has not been made, though losses to both sides have been recorded.

However all is not lost as it seems that both Lorrd and the Auril Sector are attempting to come to terms over the incident at the peace tables, with neutral third parties attempting to lend their hand in the matter. All that is clear though is that it would appear the strain between the Auril Sector and Lorrd will remain for quite sometime to come as both sides gear up their armies and seem to be preparing for war.

Dominion Federation enlistment on the rise

In direct response to the incident between Lorrd and the Auril Sector, the Dominion Federation Military and the Dominion Federation Navy have been posting record numbers of troop enlistment. While few have been enlisting to see action, the enlistment offices have cited that a vast majority of those enlisting are doing so because they are driven by the want to help those injured on both sides. In fact we're told that the White Cross Corps has seen its largest enlistment of personnel since the Clone Wars, breaking even those records set during the conflict.

The White Cross Corps is not the only branch to see large number of enlistments, as reports from the Dominion Federation Dragoons have also shown record numbers of enlistment, with many of them being trained to enter the prestigious Iron Guard Corps. While it is unclear what will happen in the future between the Auril Sector and Lorrd, it is safe to say that for the immediate future, the enlistment numbers will stay on the rise as more and more citizens step forward ready to lend a helping hand.

A sit down with Governor Yusuf Ad-Din

Today was a beautiful day as we sat down with the Governor of Plesstil; Governor Yusuf Ad-Din. We were invited to the Governors residence on Plesstil where we were taken back by the amazing and vibrant gardens that graced his minaret and spire centered home. As we spoke with the Governor we talked about his views on the current conflict between the Auril Sector and Lorrd, a subject which the Governor seemed more than happy to speak to us with.

"This conflict is a minor one, which will be dealt with soon enough from both sides. While it is absolutely horrendous that this Genocide happened, I feel that a better solution could have been presented and use, rather than the slaughter of innocent women and children, and men. While I can not officially comment on my full feelings on the matter, I can say this much, the people of the Plesstil System are stead fast in their support of the Auril Sector that they have even taken to forming the volunteer based 1st Mamluk Regiment."

When asked further about the Mamluk Regiment that had been raised by the people of the Plesstil System, the Governor praised the spirit of his people that they would rise up and volunteer to aid in a non-combat capacity to help the injured on both sides of the conflict.
