A quick fluttering shine of light was all that marked the end of a long and unknown journey through hyperspace. Shala's Limpet Ship damaged from it's last encounter, their navigation computer fried, along with two landing pads that had been damaged. Without knowing their location and the closest world they could travel to for repairs, it seemed as if the situation was hopeless. Their options were to send out a distress beacon, which could cause more problems than solve. To limp slowly through space and hope to come upon a planet, or jump randomly into hyperspace and hope for a better destination than were they were now. With the only three options however being present, it wasn't too difficult to say that at the moment their choices had to be weighed before even being implemented.

For now Shala sat quietly in the seat that was centered on the bridge. Watching her crew working hard to fix their systems, while also thinking of a plan on how to get out of their situation. There wasn't much they could do for the moment, so it was easy to say that the best course was to sit quietly and think of the best action to take. Her fingers lightly tapped out a tune on her chair as she rest her cheek on her closed fist. Their location was unknown to them, which meant that tracking their vessel would be difficult should anyone decide to go looking for the Limpet Ship.

So, damaged and limping, the vessel pushed on through the cold devoid realm of space while it's crew took stock of it's provisions and thought on their best course of action.

Rescue could take the place of a number of forms. It was the fact of deep space in itself that made such chance encounters all the more titillating, and in this particular case, whether it was chance or fate or even the all-seeing, all-mystical Force that brought Shala Ecsedy to this corner of the galaxy, well... who could say, truly? However, it was in a part, fortune, at least if things went well, to the being that was about to stumble about her, for this particular being had needed a new associate with certain skills; skills that someone like the Mistryl Shadow Guard could offer.

Being off the beaten path, as this particular being tended to traverse, Shala's little vessel might notice a number of ships headed her way. The centerpiece was a modified Kiltirin-class dungeon ship, escorted on either side by modified Kaloth-class battlecruisers and surrounded by a pair of KR-TB Doomtreader transports, a pair of TL-118 StarHammer fighters, a squadron of HLAF-500 fighters, a squadron of MorningStar-A and MorningStar-B starfighters and, last not but least, a half-squadron of Pursuer-class ships. Leading the entire entourage was a modified Vanguard-class assault gunship, Dragon's Flame, the personal craft of Rhygar Valencia, the Dragon of Zonju V.

Heading jovially towards Orvax IV as he was, Valencia was startled to find from Cronau radiation, a sort of ship he'd not seen before suddenly appear not far off his sensors. Engaging comms, he hailed the curious ship, which looked damaged. "Unknown vessel, do you require assistance? You seem to be a little lost."

((1. It is not openly known that Shala is a Mistryl Shadow Guard, so even mentioning it in your response makes no sense. 2. I was hoping to have this as a personal writing story just for Shala. 3. It's nice to see that when you dont get what you want with one character, you thrown another at it.))

It also happened that the damage extended to their communications, which allowed them to send, though not read or hear messages sent to them. The sensors though went off when they picked up the larger formation of vessels, which was more than enough for alarm. Luckly enough the vessel's navigation computer came back on line long enough to plot a proper hyperspace jump. With a nod from Shala, the pilot hit the switch and sent the Limpet Ship off on a programmed jump out of the area and to a more safe and friendly area to allow their ship repairs.

(( 1. Through writing, one can express certain items, such as the fact that while Rhygar Valencia did not know the YM-2800 contained Mistryl Shadow Guard, it can be implied that the services of such would have been a boon to him in his endeavors. In essence, it implies that there would have been a mutually beneficial partnership where they worked together. 2. If you want it as personal, write private on it. 3. This character actually would have worked with you. 4. Good to see that when things don't go your way, you still cut and run. ))

And since the ship jumped to hyperspace, leaving behind an overall lack of substance, Valencia simply shrugged his metal shoulders and continued on the way with his convoy, which would eventually go to hyperspace. The Orvax IV slave fair seemed like it would be very profitable this year.
