| "Or perhaps you talk too much, Jedi." The voice came out full of venom and amusement, almost a hiss as one of the offshoot doors to Shiva's sitting room opened up, allowing a slender, dark-caped figure to walk into the room. "Easy targets? Where have you been the last five years, Jedi? I don't recall seeing you make the news through attacks against the Empire." Walking a circular path to stand near Shiva, the Zabrak female smiled humorlessly at the Jedi.
"And you come seeking parts for a lightsaber. What happened to yours, Jedi? And where are the rest of your kind? You're all scattered while the Shadowlord has remained strong and fighting. Targets to hit and raiding are a poor way to make profit. You can persuade people through the Force... why don't you help us take over a company?"

| Shiva was silent as the former dark acolyte made her way into the room. Since her emergence to him not long ago, he;d grudgingly come to accept her as a partner in his work. The alternative meant either departing his vessel forever... or death. So, grudging partners it was. "We fight how we can, Havoc... and we've been tracking down worlds in Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. Those Hapans who escaped the Empire? We've been trying to find them, as well as other rebellious groups. You think it's easy to maintain ships this size? Or to fund two bases under the Empire's nose? It's not."

| Havoc knew something was amiss, but he didn't suspect what he had just encountered. "Well, I see that there are more invited to this party." He snorted back at the female. "Didn't think that women could be Sith... though come to think about it... your boss is sitting in Coruscant right now." His mind went into alert. "Maybe you need your eyes checked, chick... My face along with others have been on the news. And just because you don't hear of me, doesn't mean I haven't been busy." His arms remained cross as she brought up the lightsaber. "Tell you what, you give me yours and we call it even... I lost it in a struggle for my life." His attention turned back to Shiva. "I can understand your importance, but the fact of the matter is one thing; The Empire."

| "Sith? Ha! What an antiquated notion. Dark Jedi, if you will... far more profit in that and less mystical hand-waving and need to control the galaxy." Kali's voice was full of amusement and scorn. She had no real use for the path of Sith any more than the Jedi likely did. "And your boss is where? Dead, more than likely? Scattered to the winds? At least I have a place to go to if this all falls through. I hear the Inquisitorious are always looking for converts. Still... Palpatine leaves a bad taste in the mouth." When he mentioned making the news, she simply smirked, and when he commented on her weapon, the smirk grew wider. "Oh, I'm afraid I can't do that. You might loose this one as well and then we'd both be put out."

| "Calm yourself, Kali." Shiva's voice had a momentary bite to it. "There is no need to argue when the Jedi has come as a friend and ally... and we are woefully short of those these days." Standing, Shiva paced back and forth before his chair briefly. "Of course the Empire is what matters. The problem is that I don't have enough capital to maintain my current expenses and mount a continued, effective offense. My expenses as they are are covered, with a bit extra to put away in case of an emergency. You find a way for us to make some cash, and I'll gladly lend my ships to an enterprise you'll need them for."

| "Actually, my good Dark Jedi... my boss is actually quite still alive. He muttered, smirking at the comment. "He actually heads a world..." His eyes met the figure of Shiva, nodding some. "Capital won't be easy to come by... we'd have to do something out of the box in order to bring in wealth." Drifting into space a little, he thought about his options. Slavery? No, even the CIS is better then that. Blackmail? Only works for so long until the other party can get something on you. Finally, something came to mind. "A business..." Havoc muttered, rubbing his chin somewhat. "Shiva... are you good at business fronts?"

| "Oh? So Master Yoda heads a world now, does he?" Kali's voice was as mo0cking as possible, but she too was intrigued by the talk of finding capital and a legitimate business venture. After all, her fortunes, such as they were, rose and fell with Shiva in their unpleasant partnership. She gave the boost of an added Dark Acolyte to Shiva's forces, and Shiva, in Kali's eyes, provided the ships and firepower she would need to pit a decent fight against the Empire... or to carve out her own niche in the galaxy.

| "I have existing business fronts already, Havoc, largely in the mining industry. Granted, its nothing specific and largely black market profiting, but I'm willing to hear more. I have enough capital to start up a business, if nothing else. Granted, we would need to make it legitimate enough while maintaining enough ties outside to prevent the abuse or finding of it by Imperials." Shiva continued to pace as he spoke.
"The bases I have currently founded serve as part of the mining operations as well."

| Rather then be taunted by a female, Havoc did what he did best in the presence of nagging females... ignore them. Keeping his focus on Shiva, Havoc stood tall and crossed his arms. "It's rather simple, we find a nicely populated planet and we open up a store front. Now we can sell anything from weapons to health-related services... or if you don't like that idea, we can simply start a casino somewhere and start to bring you in credits; I don't need any of it." Nodding some. "And if that doesn't suit you, I say we start a gladiator service. We pit warriors against each other and in order to gamble... individuals will have to go through the people we supply to place their bets. They fight, they live or die and we profit off of the bets."However, Havoc's heart could be felt turning black. "And if they have a problem with that... then I have no problems changing their minds... forever..." He said coldly.

| "Well that's not too hard an idea. Mind you though," Shiva held up a hand to forestall comments for the moment, "A store of some kind would be easy enough to begin with. It has the advantage of working on numerous worlds. A casino though, would have to be situated on worlds that agree with Imperial gambling laws. The gladiator idea, while having merit, might well bring me into conflict with the Hutts or other criminal organizations that I can't afford to fight off. As such, the first two options are the most viable. If I may say so, the abilities that you, Havoc, and Kali have in regards to... persuasion? Yes, persuasion. From there, easing into ownership of a store or a casino will be mere child's play."

| "We may command the Force, Shiva... but we are not wizards." Havoc would shoot back right away, grinning some as he looked at Kali. "If anything, your female friend here would have no problem seducing individuals, unless they were into the male species... He muttered, lowering his head some. "While the Force may work wonders... abusing it to the point of persuasion after persuasion... it will not work as easily as you think. Some minds are stronger then others. You'd have to find their weak point... and constantly attack it to the point where you would be somewhat successful... and even that has it's limits too." His eyes shot up. "I have no problem taking control of small shop owners; their minds are blocked by greed. It's the bigger guys with the deeper pockets that will give us the hard time. So if you want us to go after those with the bigger capital... you'll have to give us time to work on them."

| Holding up a hand once more to forestall any snarky replies from Kali, Shiva waited a moment and then spoke. "Well, the Force aside, then. The primary point is not to work too close to home. We need something suitable in the Outer Rim. Something that can be easily run without much notice. I'll be assigning you twenty mercenaries to work with you and, shall we say, do the heavy lifting? It will give you the appearance of a manager of whatever image you chose to create."
Shiva's voice went from thoughtful to stern for a moment. "These aren't throwaway men, Havoc. Treat them fair and they'll work with you, but they aren't some sacrifice to waste needlessly, or to dominate with your Force abilities or to throw into walls or whatever in between. Your reputation from the Clone Wars precedes you in some ways. Even among the CIS, your temper was heard of. Flying off the handle during this venture will net us no profits, which in turn, nets us no attacks on the Empire.
"Do we have an accord? I shall even assign you a shuttle, if you like... or a freighter of common make, if that is less conspicuous."

| "I have one more request, Shiva..." Havoc shot back before he agreed to anything. "I want access to your metal scraps to see if I can find anything useful for a lightsaber." That was his only demand. His smirk got wider with the mention of his reputation during the Clone Wars. Havoc may of been older, and somewhat 'wiser' but out of all things, he was glad that something of him was remembered. "Shiva... you hurt me with your comments. Just because I did throw a couple of Clone Troopers into the wall because they failed to take their objective doesn't mean I'll do the same to these men; back then Kamino would just breed more of them... I'm on limited resources... so as long as your men don't work for the Empire or plan to kill me... I won't be throwing them into any walls."

| "You are free to search, as I promised... but I do not know if you will find the parts for a lightsaber." Shiva chose his words with care. "Kali has been through them herself a time or two to find enough parts to build a quasi-functional second saber. It's neither pretty nor elegant, but if you cannot find the parts, perhaps she will loan you hers." That was more of a statement than a question or a request.
"If they work for me, they aren't working for the Empire. We pride ourselves on loyalty around here. Well, loyalty to a point. They are mercenaries after all, but they seem to know where their bread is buttered. That and the Mynocks don't take kindly to possible traitors within the other ranks."

| "Very well, Shiva." Havoc would then produce a data-pad to him. "Vuzsa is the target. You'll get a Starship Repair shop up. If you'll need me, I will be heading down to find scraps..." The Jedi would take his leave abruptly and proceed down into Shiva's scrapyard to find parts for a lightsaber. Within the data-pad would be a pre-arranged plan in which what would happen on the planet.
