"What's this world marked as?"

"Star charts list it as Zaddja, sir. We're in the Trilon Sector."

Hearing the escort pilot's voice over the comm channel from where Da'shune sat in the Elysium, he considered the barren world. Very few life-signs indeed. Here, on the outer edge of the Outer Rim, Da'shune, defiant as ever, intended to establish a small colony of no more than fifty or sixty people; a starting point in the Empire's backyard and a new branch-out for the Independent Hapan Nation.

"The asteroid shroud will help keep unwanted people out," Da'shune commented to the others in his flight group. "We should work to capitalize on this as quickly as possible. We'll need to get some of the larger ships here and some of our new friends building. This colony won't be ready for major expansion for years yet, but by the Force, we'll make a good show of it in the meantime."

Had Da'shune known he was sharing the sector with a dangerous Separatist force, he might not have settled in so comfortably. However, knowledge of the rest of the systems within the Trilon Sector was lacking, and a world with a population of about or less than one million people seemed as if it would not draw much notice. The Nova-class that came and left rather quickly deposited some thirty hardy souls and no few pieces of equipment so that they could carve out the basics of a fortification somewhere safe and create the basis of a thriving colony, as well as a shuttle that would allow them to escape the world if need be.
