As I'm operating off my phone and will be until I move into my new place on the 8th, this request might be a little awkward as I can't reference Wookieepedia.

Now, under the assumption that Shiva has had access to other ships in the past that have either succumbed to damage or been scrappd for parts, I'd like to request a Management-decided number of static defenses cobbled together with varied weaponry and/or shielding from said scrapped vessels. Rinn itself would be guarded from space in this way and the majority of said defenses would be powered down, seemingly little more than junk and wreckage.

The concept is fine. Do you have any suggestions you want to throw up as a template to work from?

If you'd be willing to give me some time to get fully moved in, I'll have normal net again and I can access more info.

Ok, there is very little information on Rinn and as such, I'd like to start by describing and fleshing it out some, if that is ok?

Go for it. This might be helpful to you, too. It's from the Wookieepedia page on the Tintinna, the species indigenous to Rinn: "Because Rinn was located in a remote portion of the Outer Rim Territories, Tintinna had little contact with the outside galaxy. Some offworlders used the planet as a hideout, and a few Tintinna left Rinn in their company." Seems like you picked a perfect place.

Once again there is little I can add here as I have just returned to full Management duties. I would like to point out, however, that in AGW (as you well know) we have historically kept our fleet numbers small on purpose. That in mind I am thinking that 6 - 8 ships would be far more than enough to start with. Of course that would not necessarily include fighters since they were extremely hard to come by for the rebels during this time.

Not quite referring to ships just yet, but in fleshing out, this is 'section one.'

Rinn is stated to have primarily plains as the major terrain feature and has a local species called the Tintinna.

As I am not (yet) going in depth as to draw up an actual world map, this is more of a request for the running of the planet and generalized terrain features. In the mountainous portions of Rinn, I would request that it be well stocked with valuable ores and minerals that most overlooked due to its distance and the depth at which it would have to be mined.

On the plains, food can be grown easily enough through agricultural techniques.

Mainly, many of the Tintinna and Shiva would have come to an agreement where he protects them and assists their technology (at least among some tribes, as they are only at the steam-level), and in turn, they assist him in various duties and mine ores and such. I do want to state that it is a mutually beneficial agreement with no signs of slavery or other mistreatment or things that could be, at this time, misconstrued as mistreatment.

Once management looks this over, I'll continue.

I'm all for it so far. The only thing I would suggest changing is saying that "many of the Tintinna" have made this agreement with Shiva, rather than "the Tintinna." That's not to say that any of them really disagree, only that a lot of them probably live in other regions of the planet and don't pay attention to what's happening. This is probably what you meant anyway, just wanted to emphasize it. But yeah, so far so good as far as I'm concerned.

Edited that. Ok, most of the 'cities' on Rinn would largely be prefabricated shelters and buildings built from the natural resources to save on cost. Actual 'cities' wouldn't exist, but between the Tintinna and Shiva's forces, enough warrens and defensive positions would have been erected at various points to be effective to a point against ground forces. The only actual 'command' area would be a rather large 'city' complete with walls and defensive structures called New Haven. This is the primary interaction point for the Tintinna and Shiva's forces.

Ok, so, seeing as little (read, none) information is existing about the Rinn System, I would request that Rinn have a single moon that is airless and uninhabitable to normal forms of life, but has potential as either a subterranean base of operations or serves as a listening outpost. More to come on that.

I would also request an asteroid belt of decent size within the Rinn System. If this is approved, I would like four to six asteroid laser batteries hidden within the belt, as well as three to five asteroid warhead launchers. Near the moon and more visible would be a pair of either gun emplacements or large gun emplacements, largely there to draw enemies within range of the concealed weapons more than to do actual damage with any major success rate.

To supplement, I would request, at Management's discretion, a management-chosen number of Type A, B and C Mines (types and numbers at the discretion of management) to supplement the defenses.

Again, sounds okay to me. Say, 8 Type A's and 8 Type B's? I recall denying Type C's in the past, I think.
