Seeing as how Sluis Van is an existing shipyard world, I shan't waste space requesting specific types of shipyards unless the issue comes up. This request is primarily for defensive vessels.

So:

1x Class 1000 Cruiser (modified by the Sluissi to require only 240 crew and 40 gunners)

2x EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigates

3x IPV-1 System Patrol Craft

4x Law-class light patrol craft

Indeterminate amount of snubfighters of type to be decided.

My apologies for not getting to this sooner; with Christmas right around the corner it's been quite a hectic week for us all. I'm liking the restraint posted on this request. The only question I have pertains to the "indeterminate amount of snubfighters". To my knowledge, a Class 1000 holds 1 TIE Squadron, while each Neb-B frigate can hold up to 24 apiece. I'd say the most I'd be willing to approve of an additional complement of snubfighters would be another squadron, which would bring you up to 48. I'm assuming that, since Sluis Van is an Imperial memberworld than TIE Fighters would be sufficient? If so than I'm a-okay with this request.

Vote: APPROVE

Part of the modification of the Class 1000 would require giving up the extra hanger space for additional computer and power systems, so it would not need to field any fighters. Each of the Neb-B would be carrying a compliment, so 48 total for the space-based defenses is good with me.

Yeah...what he said...Christmas...working 106 hours a week...wait, no, thats not right.

Anyhow, I see no issue with this request and actualy, Sluis being an Imp world, I can see the logic in an 'Indeterminate amount of snubfighters ' so long as it is within reason and they are the standard T.I.E. and the TIE/In fighter.

Before I will formally approve, however, I will give a couple of days for any concerns Jace may have.

Vote: APPROVE

A quick aside; the figures for the Law-class patrol craft—51 meters, 15 crew, 10 passengers, 250 tons of cargo, etc.—have to be the most ridiculous I've seen since the dimensions of the Carrack-class cruiser, considering the image of the Law-class is clearly, clearly, a starfighter. It's a large starfighter, possibly, but a starfighter. It's as if whoever devised the stats for it didn't bother to look at the image. But oh well, it's canon so we have to run with it. But that said, I do expect that glass canopy to be about 15 meters across. That's terrific visibility, and vulnerability (this, the learned of you will know, is why I made the comparison to the Carrack-class, which suffers from the same dilemma. But I digress).

That said, I vote to APPROVE as well. Kudos on finding the Class 1000, btw. A terrific ship, even if its crew requirement is a bit silly (which, I see, you have remedied). Also, there's practically no limit to the number of IPV-1's that I won't approve. I heart them. So, the only thing I would add to this request by way of commentary is that it might be rather embarrassing for Sluis Van to be using ships manufactured by Kuat and Seinar rather than the Sluis Van Shipyards. We know that they're good ships, but I suspect there might be some controversy about this on Sluis Van. Anyway, request APPROVED.
