| I'd like to reopen this request Corporate Request, in exchange for the current request that I had closed. This request will be more for a Security Fleet, in relation to the events in this topic - Private Message to Agapos IX, that took place between Darres and Agapos. All funds to pay for this request will be from Eos Productions Corporation.
x1 Hammerhead Class Cruiser
- In the article it states Quote "the Hammerhead-class cruiser was one of the longest serving classes of ship in the Republic military, with versions of it being maintained in active service for at least 3,000 years"
x9 Aurek Class Tactical Strikefighter
x3 S-250 Chela Class Starfighter
- Two more nostalgic request, I know, I have a thing for the Old Republic ships. For these I kinda saw them as included with the above Hammerhead Cruiser, kinda like a gift from the planetary government that the Eos Productions Corporation would purchase the Hammerhead class from.

- Modified to carry x2 Turbolaser Cannons
- Passenger Compartment Modified to hold four star fighters
x2 Arquitens Class Light Cruiser
x2 Modified AA-9 Coruscant Freighter
- Modified to be a "Missile Cruiser"
- Fires Missile like Submarine missile fire

- Clone Wars Configuration

I would also like to request the set up a mining facility on Monor II that would be in charge of operations on Monor II, from monitoring the effects the mining has on the Cirrifog depletion, as well as be in charge of the actual mining of the Cirrifog.
Now for the fun part.
For the above request fleets, the funding that would go into purchasing them would be saved up from the past months inflow of credits, including the starting gain of the expansions that have happened, stated in this previous Company Consolidation/Expansion that Jace had mentioned and I agreed on. The funding would be set and the ships would be purchased due to their "older" status and the likely hood that most people wouldnt want to purchase them, or be in need of them since the Empire's founding and various newer shuttle and ship types have been released.
As I stated above, I can see the Eos Productions Company finding and purchasing the Hammerhead Class Cruiser and its compliment of Aurek and Chela fighters from an outer rim Planetary Government that would have, at the time, had only enough credits to purchase one Hammerhead, but in more recent years been able to save enough to purchase a newer ship, including using the credits from the sale of the Hammerhead, to add to the purchase of a new ship. Same with the Munificent Class Star Fighter, Corellian Star Shuttle, AA-9 Coruscant Freighter and the Consular Class Space Cruiser. Each of the ships would have been purchased due to the ship previously being A.) Retired and mothballed, B.) Deemed obsolete and sold off. The Eos Productions Corporation would approach the owners at that time and purchase them at a lower cost due to the age of the ship and the previous owners desire to no longer have them in their inventory of ships, so they could afford more up to date models. When purchased the Eos Productions Corporation would put in some more funds to bring the ship up to working order, as well as modify the other ships as mentioned above.
Finding staff and crew for these ships would begin at a lower level, mainly inquiring with in the company if any workers had previous skills in piloting or commanding ships. Those that did would be hired to fill in the major positions before the company would go to outside sources to hire their crew. The positions would be filled from Engineers, to pilots and captains, even the medical and kitchen staff on the larger ships would be hired first from with in the company, and second from outside the company.

The denials are due to our informal policy of not approving older model vessels... and the Jedi Civil War is far back enough for this to fall into play, as well as consideration of Verilia's finances, the state of his companies, and recent commitments to new mining ventures, which will cost a lot of money to start up himself before they begin to pay off. Please look to the previous request for in depth explanation by either my posts or Jace's, on my viewpoint here. As for the pending, before I can approve or deny the ship and its modification, please explain its modification in better detail.

The Modification for these take advantage of their hull depth. Instead of placing the missile tubes horizontally, like for example a torpedo tube in a US submarine sits horizontally, these missile tubes are set up to be sitting vertically (like the tomahawk missile tubes on today's US subs.) To this effect the AA-9s would be stationed above the fleet in the X axis (Which I think is straight up and down) and from there they would acquire targets, then fire their missiles up, which would fly in a high arc pattern before being guided into enemy ships.
I would like to put up for consideration in place of the Hammerhead, these ship designs, which would be purchased as used from merchants or other planetary fleets that no longer wanted them in service.

| Okay, 14 posts into this postathon of mine on the requests forum, and here at last is the big one. So, I agree with Orion and Karth on the ancient ships. However I'm also inclined to DENY the starfighters in this instance mainly for the same reason I did on the Zenith Security request. But additionally, I have some concerns about the cost of maintaining the starfighters and pilots, etc. Whereas these other ships can more or less interchange their crews if necessary, it seems to me starfighters would require full time dedicated pilots, preferably with hundreds of hours of experience. For a company at this stage, it strikes me as a considerable expense to have what would essentially have to be a whole department for the management and maintenance of its starfighters. This wouldn't preclude Eos Productions from contracting with independent starfighter squadrons, however (preferably actual characters rather than NPC's, but that's not necessary if it doesn't work out. I think it'd be a fun angle for the RP, though. Or it could be quasi-managed by Monor II, in a clandestine manner. This too would be interesting to see in the RP).
Additionally, I vote to APPROVE the following:
2 modified Corellian Star Shuttles
2 Charger c20 Refit Consular-class Cruisers
2 Gozanti Cruisers
And either
1 modified AA-9 freighter
or
1 modified Rescue Ship
Both of them together might be a bit much. And just some personal commentary here, but as cool as the submarine-style missiles are, I'm a bit skeptical on the utility of them in space where gravity isn't a factor. Wouldn't the long firing arcs simply allow more time for an enemy to see them coming and shoot them down? Rather than, say, the AA-9 maneuvering so its dorsal side faces the enemy and then firing its missiles directly at it. This isn't a consideration in my decision to approve or deny, mind you, just a curiosity. My approval and denial numbers aren't set in stone, either. I don't feel too strongly here and I'm open to compromise.

| I'll take this set up. Thinking more on the AA-9 modification, it does seem a bit silly and out of place. This grouping of ships will do fine as the first security fleet of the Eos Productions Corporation. With its first tour being to secure the companies new site on Monor II as agreed with Agapos IX in a previous thread.
