While I am waiting for this to be answered, I was wondering if I might perhaps regain the Basilisk war droid I had intended as a pet for Rhygar?
Mind you, I was never here whilst Rauun was at the site; far before my time, so I can't speak of their misuse or the like. I requested it primarily because it strikes me that an overly large cyborg who had a taste for the the finer things in life while he was more flesh than metal would likely carry over such a thing into his cyborg stage. Just as many wealthy people purchase large and unique expensive dogs, a Basilisk with an altered droid brain to give it some 'personality' would be a fun addition. I always envisioned it as more of an amusement and side aspect to Rhygar than an actual weapon of war and such to be send on missions. One of those, it goes where he goes sort of thing. I mean, if he were to be attacked, it would aid in his defense (no different than any other loyal and trained pet).
My initial misgivings on it were Jace's reaction, despite the go-ahead from Orion and Karth. Guys, I still appreciate the go-ahead, but I try not to be greedy and I really try not to piss Jace off; usually when he has a misgiving, I tend to defer to his judgement unless I feel I can make a good point (such as here).
