Zenith Security Services

Requisite Background

Founded in 15 BBY by former C.I.S. Commander Ardus Jendarian; Zenith Security started as a small corporate security firm on Dubrillion. Following the end of the Clone Wars, Dubrillion native Ardus became disillusioned with the life of a soldier; and he found himself wanting to transition into a more honest line of work. Thus, he gathered together the remnants of his former unit (the Dubrilli Phalanx, a collection of a few hundred volunteer soldiers) and built up a small clientle base among small businesses and arms manufacturers. Eventually, having gained a significant portion of earnings from these clients; Zenith Security began to spread outward across the sector, recruiting from other former Separatists (among others, such as former law enforcement, mercanaries looking for steady work, etc). Now, five years after the company's founding, Jendarian has established them as one of the more prominent corporate and private security firms in the Outer Rim Territories. He has since relocated the company's main office from Dubrillion (now an Imperial memberworld) to Nar Shaddaa; and has entered into arrangements with the Hutt Cartel for deals on weapons, ships, and the like.

Current Forces

3,500 Security Troopers
500 Officers
400 Riot Troopers

x6 CR25 Troop Carriers
x3 Squadrons of MorningStar-B Starfighters (12 to a Squadron, so 36 total. Used only as escort for the CR25's)

Bases

Office building on Nar Shaddaa (manned by the requisite staff + 200 Security Troopers)
Satellite outposts (10-15 staff) on Tatooine, Ord Mantell, and Dubrillion

How They Work

At current, while Zenith is a growing company, they are still rather small in scale. Though their influence is growing across the Outer Rim; they don't have the manpower to make a push into the Mid Rim as of yet, so they're stuck to guarding small corporations and providing private security for various merchants and such. I have an arrangement with Njon that will explain how they managed to get their hands on CR25's, which will be explained in greater detail if required.

I know that I'm supposed to abstain from voting on my own requests; but you know what... *tears up the rulebook*. I don't play by the rules.

APPROVE.

I will APPROVE, IF the amount of personnel is lowered to 500, not including the headquarters contingent. Other than that, I'm all for everything here. And, way to be a renegade Karth.

I wrote something a bit more harsh, but then I had my coffee and my cigarette and I was far less cranky. I don't think that 4,400 employees is that far of a stretch for an established company; after all, the Outer Rim is rather large in scope, and they've had five years of activity. Still, I'll lower the numbers (if only because, hey, I'm reasonable); but 500 seems a tad small to me. Perhaps these might work:

2,000 Troopers
300 Officers
300 Riot Troopers.

I don't mean to seem like a dick or anything, I was just riding this small business wave we've been riding. Anyways, you've convinced me with absolutely no words of convincing really, which is quiet a feat. I APPROVE, just to be difficult, of the original request numbers.

I deny the bro hug, that is. As for the request, I'm vote to APPROVE it in its original form. 4,400 isn't bad, really. The first real request for Patriot Defense Services had 400,000 contractors on retainer. I was okay with that (understanding that they aren't used all at once) and I'm okay with this too. However, I did have a thought about the starfighters, which I'm a bit hesitant about (not the type of fighter, mind you, but the idea of a defense contractor with starfighters, the obvious utility aside). What if Zenith didn't have fighters and, instead, when it has a need for escort it subcontracts to someone else? I like this idea personally because it would involve more people and also involve the company in some potentially unsavory characters like pirates, mercenaries, etc.

That's a great idea, actually, I only had the fighters up there so that the CR25's weren't completely defenseless.

So it's looks like you're all APPROVED, sans fighters.
