| Seeing as how Shiva's play has fallen a little dormant and seeing the need for a dedicated pirate/mercenary faction with vessels (for interaction), I'm considering making the Red Mynocks into a playable faction rather than one I sub-run under Shiva. However, I'd like them to have a dedicated flagship.
Said flagship would be a Modified Action VI Transport with the following changes:
- Upgraded shield generator (25% stronger than stock)
- Upgraded hyperdrive (2.0 from 3.0)
- Increased sublight speed
- 8x ion cannons (two fore, two aft, two port and two starboard)
- 12x double laser cannons (two aft, two port, two starboard, six fore)

After attrition and losses and whatnot, I believe their total vessels to date are:
- 1 Modified Telgorn dropship
- 12 R-41 Starchasers
- 1 YZ-775 freighter
- 4 Planetary Defender starfighters
- 1 Modified JumpMaster 5000

| I'm heavily in favor of this, except that 8 ion cannons seems a bit steep especially with full 360 degree coverage. That's basically a "thread ender" if I've ever seen one (well intended though it is, I think it's overkill and approaches the "practically invincible" territory mentioned in the rules, in the contexts its likely to be used, that is). If you slim down the ion cannons by 2 or so and get rid of complete coverage, I'd be okay with it.

| Jace, before you call down the placement, I have a small confession. I used the Asagov Raider as my basic template. The ship I chose is simply updated with a few other things thrown in. It is by no means invincible or truly capable of 'full coverage' if one throws in the extra dimensions utilized in space battle. Please look over the design I utilized prior to me changing it, if you'd be willing.
