Cronese Mandate Fleet Request #2

| I'd like to request the following to add to the current Fleet of the Cronese Mandate. However, these ships would be purely for defensive and rescue operations against pirates. I.E. defending planets from pirate attacks, recovering ships attacked by pirates, rescue ships hijacked by pirates, or people kidnapped by pirates.
x5 Gozanti Cruisers
x1 Modified Rescue Frigate
- Added x2 Turbolaser Cannons (Mounted Port and Starboard)
- Added x1 Ion Cannon (Mounted beneath the ship, used for subduing hijacked or ships stolen by pirates to return them to rightful owners
Their operations would be held with in the Cronese Mandate only, and would not be used outside of said Sector, unless a very good reason called for it, such as the need to protect and move a massive relief fund or to escort a high valued target on a diplomatic mission, I.E. The King/Queen of Cron.

| This is the Current Fleet, which was approved in May.
x1 Keldabe Class Battleship
x1 Munificent Class Star Frigate
x2 Nebulon-B Frigates
x3 Marauder Class Corvettes
x12 Z-95 Headhunters
x8 Rihkxyrk Assault Fighters
The Above requested, as stated, would be acting only with in the Cronese Mandate and would be restricted to Cronese Mandate space, where as the previous fleet has already been used out of Cronese space, although it was a fraction of such which was used at Monor II.

| Yes. I vote to DENY because it seems to me the Cronese Mandate's current ships are ample and to approve these would give it a significant advantage, or rather, an even more significant advantage than it already has, over most other factions. Also, the reasoning of the request—that these ships are intended for defense only—I have consistently rejected, as it has long been a stated priority of mine in the approval of ship numbers to compel the planet or faction in question to have a choice between offense or defense, but not both simultaneously. The reasons for this are manifold and can be found expressed by me in numerous other request threads. Sorry, Zarc. I might be willing to revisit this later, personally, but for now I remain consistent on this issue.

| Would I be allowed to fold them into the already approved ships, which would take away the defensive use stated. Or would you still see that as being given a greater advantage over the other factions. A few of the other fleets though that I have seen, seem to be able to stand evenly with what I'm adding to the request. Let along the fact that Vjun has 150 mines put around the planet. But if you still have reservations with approving the additional ships, I'll understand and leave it for another time then.

| I definitely misread the current Cronese fleet, and I apologize for that. I'm pretty sure that the only world that comes close to the Cronese fleet is Druckenwell, right now. While it's an unfortunate aspect of being a manager, until the playing field is more level, I have to change my vote to DENY.
