The imagery calls to me in a more Cronese fashion that your previous work, I like it. That said, these are alot of designs, some a bit over the edge of me being comfortable enough to form a strictly independent opinion at this time. Jace? Karth? Erik? Anyone one of yous' guys wanna comment on this before I weigh in?

APPROVE
Spire-class Space Station design
Hammer-class Heavy Cruiser design
Ticonderoga-class Carrier design
Dragon-class Gunship design
Replacement of the Golan-I Space Defense SpaceGuns and associated defenses with Spire-class Space Stations.

PENDING
Orion Wing
Ticonderoga-class Carrier
2 Hammer-class Heavy Cruisers
4 Sinderon-class Frigates

Cronese Security Limited
250 personnel
12 Dragon-class Gunships

Before I proceed on the requested numbers, please explain in more detail why you are seeking to expand the Cronese Navy further, despite Management saying you were pretty much cut-off for the time being. I'm not initially against it mind you, but I would like to see some critical thought, and be given a clear, concise, detailed, and rational arguement as to why the Cronese Navy needs to be expanded. If you could do the same as to what exactly Cronese Security Limited has done, or its parent company, to bring in enough capital and resources to expand.

Viewing the current, lets call it a "power struggle" for lack of a better term, in the Outer Rim that seems to be focused between the Ethnic Cronese and the Tionese, which has many times pulled in the Cronese Mandate into the situation, whom have already put forth their own declaration that they'd no longer be able to step in when it comes to conflicts, yet still offer to repatriate the Ethnic Cronese should they arrive, the overall concern would be the following, which would build up to the further expansion of the Cronese Mandate Fleet.

1.) The Construction of numerous stations around the Mandate, manned by the "Tionese Legion" and funded and set up by the Auril Sector, which has stated its intention that the fighters on each station would be used to directly attack "Cronese Targets" would bring a large concern from the citizens of the Mandate, requiring the expansion of the Fleet to ensure the safety and security of the people, as the "Tionese Legion" has made it clear that any movement of the Cronese Fleet outside, without specifying between relief aid, or military action, would be enough for them to attack any "Cronese Target"

2.) The "War Games" being set up and run by the Axum Interest Protection Squad, which would see large numbers of warships crossing through the Mandate on little more than a simple notice of "We're coming through" without second thought to the fact that it would stir up more trouble in the calling to prevent future shows of force by another world/sector in the Mandate, while under the guise of another mission/objective. This would also include the fact that Deralian ships would be traveling with the fleet, which the Cronese Mandate, after the events at Caluula, would recognize as hostile, and their appearance in the Mandate would cause the people to call for their immediate deportation, capture or destruction due to their hostile status, which would in turn be met by an attack of the other vessels, which seem to be there to stir up more trouble in the Mandate.

3.) The Ordan-North Cronese Mandate Capital Blockade Act showing that those worlds participating in the act would resort to force for the actions taken by the Mandate to aid people, and in turn defend said innocents caught in the middle, and defending their own. While Ordan has marked it at putting a six month deadline on it, it would still open the Mandate to further jabs and attacks from Tionese Forces and other forces in the area that already have their own problem with the Mandate, as the Cronese Mandate would not adopt the declaration into law that is being forced upon them. The vessels being sought in the above request would be used to ensure the protection of Chandaar and other Cronese Mandate worlds, locations, key space lanes and to the overall defense of the Mandate to deal with those vessels that would arrive to put in place a hypocritical blockade.

4.) Further tension being risen by Public Statements, such as this, that seeks to paint the Mandate in a devilish appearance and cause further hostility against the Mandate in the neighboring Sectors of space, causing further need for a larger defensive fleet to cover the large borders of the Mandate and keep them secure from elements seeking to, or coming into the Mandate from the neighboring sectors, whose sole purpose and goal would be to cause panic and problems in the Mandate.

5.) Yet again, to bolster the defense of the Mandate from such actions as being planned by In this message to Deralia in which their original purpose of being a "tour of the Greater Cronese Arc" could be seen as gathering intelligence for a future attack, or one that is already being planned to coincide with the possible blockade, in which would both locations would need to be defended and protected from the influence of these outside forces.

6.) The people fearing reprisals due to the actions taken by the Cronese Mandate, to help those innocents swept up in The Rookite Rebellion , as well as seeing Deralian vessels, and those vessels that opened fire upon the Mandate Fleet as hostile in their intent, would call for a larger defensive fleet to ensure that the warships, which would be heading into the Mandate under the terms of "traveling for a wargame" would be prevented from entering into the Mandate and causing problems with their appearance and from merely being within the borders of the Mandate while the world they represent is deemed hostile.

7.) A "Diplomatic Message" from Ordan, being more of an attempt at intimidation to force the Mandate to adopt a policy which they wouldn't, as adopting such a policy would leave them open for attacks by their neighbors and be unable to retaliate to such actions, would cause the Mandate to further seek to strengthen its fleet to protect its sovereignty as a client state to the Empire, as well as protecting its people from the on coming "blockade" which would be viewed more as an attack, by Anaxes and an attempt to at forcing the Mandate to adopt a hypocritical bill. With the attempted intimidation factor being leaving their channel open to allow the Mandate to hear the Anaxes vessels that are being readied to attack, which would one could constitute as an open declaration of war.

As for the Cronese Security Limited numbers. With the company being for all intents and purposes a government funded and backed company, with their designs being accepted and being used by the various branches of the Cronese Mandate Military forces, from their weapon designs to their ship designs. CMMI would grow quickly due to the numerous Government funds and contracts being put into the company, that it would need to meet the rapid growth with an ever larger Security Force of its own to ensure the continued safety of its employees as well as their numerous research locations and facilities in Mandate Space. The Security Forces would always be stationed at a CMMI facility, or on a body guard duty for important CMMI management or employee deemed an VIP by both the Cronese Mandate Government, and the upper management of CMMI. These security forces would also act in a secondary capacity as Robeir XXII and Robeir XXIII bodyguards, being the more visible compared to the hush hush bodyguards provided by the branches and organizations within the Cronese Mandate OSS.

Quote (Jace_Varitek)
between the 9th and 101st fleets and the various defense platforms in Cronese space, the Mandate is close to impregnable as it is. So while I'm okay with swapping out current ships for other ships of similar firepower, I don't think I can approve of adding any more firepower to the Cronese fleets for the foreseeable future.

To briefly touch on the reasons posted:

1. The Tionese stations are explicitly stated to be defensive only. They pose no danger to the Cronese Mandate itself.

2., 5. and 6. Cronese ships massively outnumber Deralia's ships, possibly by 10 to 1 (I haven't done the math, but this feels right).

3. and 7. The present Cronese ship numbers are adequate to handle a blockade of Chandaar.

4. The statement shows that the "Auril Sector Irregulars" are only interested in the Cronese Mandate using force outside of its borders—but even when it does exactly this but in another sector, these "Auril Sector Irregulars" do nothing about it except issue a statement. Hardly a threat, though it's obviously meant to appear threatening.

I've stated elsewhere my fear of a potential explosion of firepower in the RP that will be out of management's control to stop. Part of the reason for this has been that the Ordans and Ryuuns of the RP have seen the enormous size of the Cronese Mandate's fleet and requested more and more ships to even have the ability to scratch the Mandate's armor or defend themselves from the Mandate. Then, naturally, the Cambrists and Lekpins and Deraliuses ("Deralii"?) of the RP see the Ordans and Ryuuns with more ships and they request more ships. This needs to stop.

I want to reassure you―the Cronese Mandate is in a very, very strong position. Its fleet is the largest the RP has ever seen, and with its fleet and its defense platforms, it's invincible, or practically so. That said, I understand your concern; the Ordans and Ryuuns of the RP can combine their forces and pose a greater threat to the Mandate. But this has always been a part of the RP―that RPers are encouraged to work with each other, to make alliances and combine forces. The Mandate's "go it alone" approach might be putting it at a disadvantage in this respect, but I don't think management should be giving it more ships to restore the advantage it's losing by not behaving as neighborly with other RPers as it could and probably should.

The Mandate has pursued an isolationist course diplomatically. While this does have its advantages, it also has its disadvantages. Even so, the Mandate probably still has enough ships already to handle Anaxes and Deralia combined. If it needs more? I'd say consider cultivating some allies.

So I'm afraid I have to be consistent here and DENY the addition of any more ships unless you want to swap them out with your others. I do APPROVE of everything that Orion approves of above, though.

Holy Barnhole, Batman! I didn't realize the Cronese fleet was that large!!

As Jace as stated, you already have a fleet large enough to adequately defend yourself, the Mandate is a friggin' fortress at this point. DENY the new ships. No problem with the new designs, so long as they aren't additions to your fleet anytime soon.

Looks like we're all agreed. The things Jaron listed are APPROVED, and the addition of new ships DENIED at this time. Let's call the Cronese Security Ltd. numbers APPROVED also, since no one's voted against them.
