I'd like to swap out one squadron of TIE/In Starfighters on the Endeavor for one squadron of TIE/In Interceptor Starfighters to be named 'Raven' Squadron.

I must vote to DENY for the simple reason that TIE Interceptors don't exist yet. The earliest sighting of them that I'm aware of is in 2 BBY, and these are retconned as prototypes in advance of the later usage of the TIE Interceptor after the Battle of Yavin. So while a case could be made that Anderson, because of his assignment, might have access to prototypes, I don't think even the prototypes exist yet—this is how we've treated it so far in the RP, anyway; the Coruscant Journal article about Seinar discontinuing the Anxarta-class freighter mentions that the company is "rumored" to be designing the TIE Interceptor.

So I'd say try again later on, when the time period has advanced into the Rebellion Era.

Would a squadron of TIE Advanced X1s be more acceptable for the swap out since the Interceptors dont exist yet (which I honestly didnt see in their article)

I think the TIE Advanced's are even more exclusive than the Interceptor. It's remotely possible that Anderson could have some, but not plausible.

As for when the TIE Interceptors came into popular use, I'll grant you it's not stated specifically in the article but you can piece it together from references here and there, i.e.;

Quote
TIE Interceptors were the new fighter force of the Empire after the Battle of Yavin, but it seems that test models were frequently seen in space battle prior to and during that time in campaigns such as Operation Strike Fear and Operation: Skyhook.

(Operation Strike Fear—2 BBY. Operation Skyhook—0 BBY/ABY).

Quote
Several sources state that the TIE/In was the main reason behind the development of the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor by the Rebel Alliance (as a countermeasure) and that the Interceptor was deployed after Yavin.

(The A-wing isn't designed until after the Battle of Yavin, either).

Quote
Era(s)

* Rebellion era
* New Republic era
* New Jedi Order era
* Legacy era

(The "Rebellion Era" takes place from around 2 BBY to 4 ABY).

Intuitively, the fact that no TIE Interceptors are seen in A New Hope or The Empire Strikes Back (and no A-wings in Yavin base), implies that the TIE Interceptors weren't adopted for widespread use until the years immediately preceding the Battle of Endor. Consider another ship, the B-wing, also not seen at Yavin base or anywhere else in the films until the Battle of Endor, because it too was developed after the Battle of Yavin.

By the law of parsimony, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one.

(Also, a personal rule of thumb that I live by; one must apply extra scrutiny to the claims and assumptions that one wants to be true. I might have absorbed this osmotically from Nietzsche, however. Or possibly Carl Sagan. Anyway, it's not too relevant here).

Okay then. So I'll just bump the request up for command of a second ISD

In all seriousness though I'm sure we can just close this up with out plastering denies all over it.

lol, okay. Let me take a look around though for other TIE variants that might be in this time period. If I find any, I'll run them by you tomorrow afternoon. If not I'll just close this up.
