As Tremaine had recently left the Senate due to his cover being blown, he's eager to expand the Libs in any way because there's going to be more armed confrontations between the rebellion and the Empire. At the moment, I think it's safe to assume that the Libs had expanded a little bit with all the recruiting efforts they have put into lately. Here's the following request:

1 ISB agent (defected)
1 Imperial intelligence agent (defected)
3 stormtroopers (defected)
20 pirates (various factions)
4 TSF soldiers (defected)
2 Tremaine's bodyguards (absorb into the military since he doesn't need them now)
15 Jabiimite fighters
3 Felucians

I also would like to establish a squad that would eventually turn into a branch. The soldiers receive elite training and had combat experience of any kind. They would be tasked with difficult tasks such as going deep behind the enemy lines to sabotage the enemy, capable of combating an Inquisitor (with some difficulty), etc. This elitist squad would be led by Qymendru dap Benjiar.

Before I get to the nut meat here, can you refresh our memories about these recruitment efforts?

Sorry. Mostly, the Libs has been recruiting characters that were RPers to either form an alliance or integrate them into the military. On a couple of threads, after meeting with those characters, I had mentioned either Tremaine or Mika going on to recruit a small number of people. Does that help? I requested a small number because the Libs still aren't that well known to the rest of the galaxy just yet. Until they are, the numbers the rebellion recruit every time is going to be small.

Okay, sounds good. Someone also told me that the Libs are involved in a refugee camp of sorts on Nar Shaddaa and may be recruiting people from there. I like that idea. I'm a bit skeptical about ISB and Imperial Intelligence agents defecting, however. I don't imagine defections from the Empire will happen until the Libs A.) are widely-known, and have popular support, and B.) appear to have a real chance of defeating the Empire. You wouldn't want to throw your career and your life away defecting to a group that you're not sure can actually win, hence I think Imperial defections will depend on the Libs having a much more prominent role than they do now.

As for stormtroopers, at this point in the RP, recruitment into the Stormtrooper Corps. has now begun, but up to this point all the stormtroopers have still been clones—clones aren't likely to defect; granted, there are a handful of clones who develop personalities and even defect from the Empire, in all the sources I'm familiar with (Imperial Commando, Battlefront: Elite Squadron, etc.) they tend to do this individually, not as a group, and usually don't join anyone else. Anubis Xerxes, in fact, is a perfect example; if he wanted to join the Libs—if he had even heard of them—how would he? An ISB or Imperial Intelligence agent might have knowledge about the Libs, but your average stormtrooper doesn't.

I APPROVE of the others, but is there a story behind the TSF officers? Why TSF, just out of curiosity?

Let me do some revising to the request. The revised list is below:

1 Bothan spy
4 Maridun warriors
20 pirates (from various factions)
4 TSF soldiers (defected)
2 Tremaine's bodyguards (merge into the Libs' military)
15 Jabiimitie fighters
3 Felucians

Establish a squadron (12 men) of elitist training led by Qymen.

As of the TSF, they were good friends of Tremaine. One of them is Jed Mann. The NPC guy that helped him out in the early stages of current timeline.

My mistake on the TSF. For some reason I thought it was Taris, not Telos. So that's fine. I'd prefer to see the Amani reduced from 4 to 2, though. They're an almost-indestructible species. Other than that, I APPROVE of everything in the revised list.

■ 1 Bothan spy
■ 2 Amani warriors
■ 20 pirates (from various factions)
■ 4 TSF soldiers (defected)
■ 2 Tremaine's bodyguards (merge into the Libs' military)
■ 15 Jabiimitie fighters
■ 3 Felucians
