| Asymmetric design is not that horrible of a thing. However, the issue at this point is not with anything to do with symmetry. It's the fact that there is nothing to even appear to be a second pair of laser cannons on this thing. I do notice however, that there is an issue in communication here. You see, I was assuming that the laser cannons were the weapons at the bottom of the wings (the ones that look like that of an A-Wing) and that the larger, dual barreled weaponry were the heavy laser cannons. However, upon review, I see that it is reversed, which lends to a supportive argument in favor of four laser cannons, but at the same time, leaves me horrible confused as to how heavier weaponry is being used in a smaller barrel.

| How about this, then, to simplify. Six laser cannons. Nuff said.

| This is what I see.
... in JACEVISION!
I'm not sure what I'm missing, but to me the only point of contention is the port-side missile launcher, if indeed that's what it is. It's pitched at an angle that's hard for us to see, but nonetheless we do see a flat surface where we would expect to see the tips of three warheads. In my opinion, it's an oversight on the artist's part. Or plain old laziness. If it is asymmetrical, why have something missile-launcher shaped on the port side if it isn't a missile launcher?
Jaron and I are switching roles on this one, it seems. I'm willing to overlook visual inconsistency and assume that the artist intends for another missile launcher to be on that side, too. Why not? Even if we are going to be strict, we can assume instead, as Jaron suggested, that there are flaps that open and close over the missile launchers (not unreasonable), and that the starboard flap is open (probably for the viewer's benefit) and the port flap is closed. Either way, I APPROVE of 6 concussion missiles.

| Here's that segment of the image enlarged and sharpened intensely.
I'm willing to believe the artist intended both of them to be missile launchers.

| Whatever management wants to put as the end consensus is what I'll go with. The small matter of heavy cannons or regular doesn't strike me as a viable reason to waste management's time.

| Agreed with Stark. I didn't know that this kind of picture would lead to confusion of some sorts and a drawn-out discussion. Whatever Management comes up with is fine, and next time I'll just have to pick concept art more wisely.

| I was gone for this, otherwise I'd have commented sooner. I'm of the opinion that a picture of a non-canon design doesn't have to be 100% accurate, after all unless you're the person that drew the picture, you'd have no control over the exact little details. I APPROVE.

| So I think my version of it is APPROVED? I don't know where Jaron stands on the armament now. And there's no problem with the image, Havoc. There's no question this fighter will be (is?) approved—the debate is just over the weapons loadout. I'm going to go ahead and close this up and if Jaron has anything to add, he can do so.
