Information-
A request from Acherin to Lorrd for a carrier design resulted in the Scythe-class. Moving away from the orthodox interior-hangar design, the Scythe opts instead for an exterior dual-hangar design that allows for faster deployment of fighters, as well as recollection. Boasting relatively fast speed and decent hull armor and shielding, the Scythe-class does suffer from light weaponry, largely to stay in line with current Imperial regulations and to ensure that the ship does not offer too much firepower to be utilized as an assault craft.
The carrier's design rights will remain with Lorrd Engineering, with the ship being produced exclusively for Acherin.
