| Well, while I loves Dantooine InterPlanetary StarPort and my Warehouse there, it don't really give the gravitas and majestic vistas a big man such as I might wish. Ain't got very good huntin' 'cos of all the locals getting the good game. I propose to you the time you realize there ain't no Kath hounds to shoot on your way home from work is a day you gotta move your place of work.
As such I'd like to request Jamie the Hutt build a new settlement on the antipode of Garang, named "Jamiestown, Dantooine" it'd be built in an area with few communities to "Brin prosperitee to a underdeveluped areea", mostly as the station for Jamie's Legitimate side of the business "Jamulon Shipping" where he would use the shipping company to bring in contraband as well as legal stuff.
Also he'd also establish a hunting lodge for big game hunters who want to shoot stuff but want to take their trophies home without export controls. The town would have plenty of plots of land for prefabricated houses. An entertainment district (Brothel, Three bars, Swimmin' hole), even a shootin' range (long street). The population would probably be around 200-500.
Just outside the town would be a small spaceport (a crashed shuttle with most of the parts removed and perched on a scaffolding frame as a "control tower" using its Sensor array and comms to monitor traffic) and on the outskirts what will become the Dantooine Rebel Base, with several hangars, storage outbuildings and blockhouses (one serving as an impromptu bar) and double around the center of Jamie's Media Empire (justifying the large comms array and sensors). There would also be a meat packing plant inside the facility, producing "Unspecified Coloured Goo" (a staple of Galactic Fastfood) via a really big mincing machine, most of the room would be taken up by the actual rebel HQ ("Newsroom") but as each visitor is treated to a good view of "Big Mincey" going through a few carcasses they rarely feel healthy enough to tour the rest of the facility.
On the reinforced Duracrete walls there would be few guard-posts, some of which would be equipped with Sensors and E-Webs or Laser Cannons of whichever manufacture had been available at the time Jamie bought each, there would be one outside the town too. This would be easily justified as this is a planet where Rancors prowl about and wouldn't raise eyebrows too much.
The base would be used to channel supplies through to his rebel movement, and allow a little furlough now and then without risking law enforcement encounters or questions.
