Greetings Mr. Carson. I come to you with an interesting proposition. As you are aware, sometime ago the InterGalactic Mining Core began the creation of subsidiary programs at the behest of the Dantooine government over some qualms that they wished to resolve over there defense. Recently, the New Republic Senate has made a motion with which to bolster the Dantooine defensive strength, which leaves the InterGalactic Mining Core in the uncomfortable predicament of a closing market. In an attempt to widen this market, we are looking to alternative means with which to produce our starships; something I believe that the Kuat shipyards are more than capable of doing.

The InterGalactic Mining Core entered into an agreement with the Outlying Shipping Corporation for the mutual benefit of producing our very own starships; we have the designs but are unfortunately incapable of mass producing any of our vehicles at this time. Our Mrlsst facility is currently undergoing a pilot project, known as Operation Red-Wing, to see the capability of the InterGalactic Mining Core to produce the aforementioned ships. The Board has personally commissioned the single Prometheus-class Carrier, but I reserve some doubt as to the successfulness of the project.

Therefore, I am approaching you today with a proposal. I am curious if the Kuat shipyards are capable of putting out two Prometheus-class carriers, paid in full by the InterGalactic Mining Core, and exactly how long the construction would take. Should this project prove profitable and efficient (of which I am very aware the Kuati people are) then the InterGalactic Mining Core would be interested in negotiating a contract with Kuat Shipyards to service and build ships for the InterGalactic Mining Core.
