Aboard the Dragon, the unknown regions She was beautiful, a blue skinned red eyed beauty that because of a deal his father had brokered once upon a time, Tes'dra was betrothed to her. She stood in a pale yellow officer's uniform, a skirt that went halfway down her thighs and a tight fitting military in the fashion worn by the Chiss house Chaff. She was addressing the Yushuvhu youth that had been selected as officer candidates for service aboard the Dragon, a highly modified Guardian class Star Destroyer, and its complement which was carried aboard the vessel. They sat in the briefing room, located below the command deck of the Star Destroyer, as she gave a lecture on defending against starfighter attacks.
Tes'dra was kneeling in his private quarters, the Captain's quarters. It was an austere, spartan environment. It had his desk from which he could access the majority of the ship's functions, and the small bed that he used. He also had a closet, but since his retirement from service with House Calipsa, he had discarded the more cosmopolitan suits that had been his style then, and instead hung robes and cloaks that would seem to more befit a Jedi of an age long past. His robes were largely smoke colored, to say that they were gray and white intermingled together. His lightsaber was resting on the floor before him as he meditated. He had decided to take a more open path against the doomsday against which he worked, and so now the Dragon was preparing to make its final preparations before leaving the unknown regions. He had been watching with interest the various events surrounding the Baltimm affair, and was preparing to investigate in person.
The lecture completed, she returned to the Captain's quarters where Tes'dra was waiting for her.
"Your men are as ready as they are ever going to be, my betrothed." She stood in the doorway to his quarters, her lithe framing leaning against the frame of the hatch.
"You and your officers will be departing the Dragon shortly, then?" He asked, rising from where he knelt, wearing loose fitting grey pants with a long sleeve white shirt, his smooth curved black lightsaber hilt picking up from the floor and clipped to his belt. His voice was low, almost monotone. She walked across the distance between them and placed a thin fingered blue hand on his left shoulder.
"Tes'dra Nintra...my people whisper when they talk about you." She steps into his personal space, playing with her bottom lip as she looks up at him, being almost half a foot shorter than he is.
"Indeed, m'lady." He agreed with her. Between himself and his father, he was sure that most of that was because the Chaff were being less than completely honest with him, but it meant little to him yet. - He had his flagship, the mighty Dragon, outfitted with Chiss technology, ready for him to become an active player in the galactic playing field.
"Won't you lie with me before you leave?" The Chiss woman said, bluntly asking for what she had been wanting the entire time.
"You haven't reached the age of majority for your people yet, m'lady." He answers, placing his hand over her's on his chest for a moment, gently removing her grip and then bringing the back of her hand to his mouth, leaving a kiss there and then nodding towards the door with his head.
"M'lady. Your House awaits you."
"You are infuriating human." To that he smiled, before she took her hand back and stepped back and made ready to turn away and leave.
"When you next return, my husband to be. You will be mine."
"Perhaps, m'lady." And then she left.
Aboard the Dragon, approaching Baltimm space
The Command Deck
"Sir, we're coming out of hyperspace." The officer at the helm reported back to Tes'dra, as he sat in the Captain's chair on the command deck.
"Very well. When you have ship ready from hyperspace, raise the communications and get in touch with both the planet and any fleet surrounding it."
"Aye aye sir."
"And get the pilots to the hangar, in case people decide to shoot first and ask later."
"Pilots to the hangar, aye."
"Very well." Tes'dra answered, as he leaned back in his command chair.
A request for communication would be sent both to any fleet surrounding the planet, and the planet's infrastructure.
