And indeed the pickets were overwhelmed, canny members of the crowd watching the evacuation and waiting until the organic guards had gone, then ordering the crowds forward, massing over the positions where most gates were simply manned by a pair of B1 battle droids. The vehicles began to roll into the city to support the crowds, more locals being drawn in and many hanging on to the vehicles as they moved through the streets, engaging government forces and carrying people towards the hated security forces.
From the countryside, in support of the protest, came over a dozen Skyhoppers oufitted with blasters by their owners and dropping home made explosives on Government forces attempting to relieve the city.
