| Senator Cambrist, you are a pragmatic man who gets things done and you have incredible influence in the Senate. I do not have much time on Coruscant and it is imperative I meet with you. I have information on a threat to the galaxy at large. I beg you, I implore you meet with me so that I might save more lives. Please, Senator, you are my only option. Meet me at Riley's cantina on the six-hundred level.

| *Cambrist was wary of this. He recalled an occasion on which his colleague, the Count and Senator Harbright, was tempted with a similar offer, this one for information on suspected union members inside his company. For his trouble, he recieved what Cambrist seemed to recall was a mango to his face. Beside the embarassment of this, of course, it'd also broken the man's nose. His assailant, it was discovered, was one of the very union members he'd desired to root out. It was a minor incident, of course, and not without humor. But the fact remained that it could have been an assassin rather than a disgruntled employee, and a vibroblade instead of a mango. It was true that Cambrist was less concerned with his security than many and, perhaps, most of his colleagues. He was rather thoroughly despised in the galaxy, and had many enemies. "Security," under the circumstances, was something of a moot point. The Senator regarded this stoically, but this didn't mean that he was reckless with his safety. Certainly not when he had reason to be suspicious. For instance, this man hadn't identified himself or what information he was supposedly carrying. He was also able to contact Cambrist and, thus, must have known his office hours. There was a reason, then, that he didn't want to venture into the Senate office building, and that reason, more than likely, was that the building did not permit weapons. Also, finally, information was not a commodity that needed to be delivered in person—if this person wanted Cambrist to recieve it and, for whatever reason, was interested in keeping his identity private, it would make more sense simply to send it to the Senator electronically, and anonymously. He had other reasons to be wary, of course. A "threat to the galaxy" was rather improbable and, even if true, Cambrist was hardly the man to deal with it. Better Gavrisom, or a Senator with some paper morals like Vanden or that other one, Fowlkes. Perhaps this man wanted to meet in person because he wished to arrange payment for the information? Cambrist was quite wealthy, after all. But no, Cambrist had no enthusiasm to haggle with someone so unscrupulous as to demand payment for information about a "threat to the galaxy." All of this crossed the Senator's mind in a matter of seconds, after which he closed the window on his datapad and attempted to put it out of his mind. He began reading other correspondence but stopped a moment later, returning, again, to the anonymous message. He had a feeling about it, and penned a quick response. "Who is this?" the message read, simply.*
