| Acherin will have an audience with the Senate when it can explain the rumors of mass, targeted killings of dissidents and public officials on the planet, which cannot be verified because its government has strangled and censored the holonet there in violation of Republic law and intellectual accords. | Chief of State Fitzgerald, As it stands, Acherin is not a member of the New Republic. While your government may be the legal government in the galaxy, it is up to a planet's functioning governmental body whether or not to join your ranks and to follow the rules of the New Republic, so therefore I do not believe that Acherin has violated any laws. As for verification, this all has to do with the information I have present for you today. We did block the holonet, if only to prevent becoming an Imperial target. | As you've said, Acherin is not a member of the New Republic, and as I've said, its government will not be afforded the privilege of our time and attention until it has explained the rumors of targeted, mass killings of dissidents and public officials on the planet, or until it will allow the NRI to investigate the rumors itself, which heretofore it has not. | Chief of State Fitzgerald, We are deeply insulted by the term of war criminals. If this government must have a reason for such rumors, then we will gladly present it to you. Some time ago, we had word from our Department of Secret Service that an Imperial spy was present on Acherin. This spy's mission was to cause disruption for his Imperial boss to come in and claim ownership of the planet. Several times have our holonet been hacked, so in order to prevent an Imperial presence upon the planet, we simply blocked the holonet and begun investigations. However we acted a little behind them, as this spy managed to rely a group under him. We suspect that Imperial agents were also sent to cause terror within the planet. Our government therefore imposed Martial Law till we could root them out. Now granted, we are all about freedom and democracy, however with this Imperial presense upon the planet, we felt it nessesary to hinder these agents so that they could not prevent furture troubles to us. We engaged in minor skirmishes on their warehouses and managed to capture intelligence, money, and weaponry. This has been going on for months. However, when we got credible information, we felt it able to restore the holonet so we did. Lifted the curfew and the people got back on with their lives. President Tu'Rot authorized a final raid upon an installation and that was where we found this spy. He surrendered and we arrested him for question. After the information, we felt it nessesary for us to come here to alert the New Republic Senate that it has a traitor in it's ranks. Representative of Acherin

| While your answers are far from sufficient until the NRI has been allowed a thorough investigation, and while this is not the appropriate venue for such an accusation, you are nonetheless recognized to speak only insofar as explaining your last remark (if, in fact, it has any merit, and is not simply an aspersion upon this Republic which your government refuses to join or obey). So do explain yourself, Mr. Tang, but understand that any allegations you make before this Senate will be regarded as suspect, at best. Eli Fitzgerald

| Chief of State Fitzgerald, While we know your polices on various subjects, we do not know how you would handle a case such as this. The Imperial spy that we gathered information from claimed that he was in league with an Imperial warlord and that it was his mission to cause disruption on our planet so it was 'ripe for the taking'. While we do not wish for anymore confrontation with this man, we would hope that the New Republic would police it's own. The Government of Acherin will be more then willing to aid in whatever investigation needed. Thank you. Representative of Acherin

| Mr. Tang, you've made an accusation against a member of this Senate not only without proof, but without even explanation. That your government is willing to cooperate with an investigation is appreciated (long overdue, but appreciated), and so I suggest that if there's any merit to your claim, that you take it to the NRI, who will begin their investigation on Acherin, determining the validity of your remarks and, as aforementioned, the rumors of mass, targeted killings of innocent civilians, dissidents and public officials, and your planet's abuse of the holonet to censor information. Only then can we know to what extent Senator Kruus was supposedly involved, to what extent your own government was, and to what extent anything you say is to be believed. The NRI will be in communication with you, Mr. Tang, and I'm sure they would appreciate you visiting their headquarters to volunteer what information you have during your stay on Coruscant. | *Kruus again appeared on the crackly holo from Dantooine* Bloody awful comms out here on Dantooine, ghastly place really. This is an outwage! I feel it a little odd that I am accused of causing civil strife on Acherin? I rather think I have better things to do with my time than that, I fail to see the profit in such an action.. This man is clearly a loon, or perhaps some variety of Joke? I would suggest Mr Tang or whatever is called chooses his words carefully as my legal department will be watching and they will advise me if any action needs to be taken on my return.
