Greetings from Mowgle,

I hope you have had a good day going on so far. Here's something that Mowgle government and I have been researching on for a while. I believe that if we are to win the war against the Imperial Remnant, we will need every advantage we can get. It may seems a very unlikely strategy, but it has happened before and it could happen again.

The New Republic could negotiate with the Hutts and see if they would be able to grant us passage throughout the Hutt space. This is something that the Imperials would not expect of us, and it would be best to hit them where they would be unexpected at best.

Again, this is just something I thought you should put into consideration.

It's an intriguing and, I think, a very good idea, Senator, and I thank you for suggesting it. As long as we can avoid the appearance of impropriety or compromise with the Hutts (many of whom are, as you know, involved in criminal enterprises with which the New Republic should not be associated), I do think there would be much benefit to having guaranteed passage through their space, especially as NRI is reporting that a number of Imperial elements have been using Hutt space as something of a haven, lately. I'll definitely look into the idea, and talk with the Defense and Commerce Councils about how best to approach it.
